Husk¹

It is an anthropomorphic cat demon, with grayish and white fur, large red wings with playing card designs, and a black top hat with a red bow tie, sporting a grumpy expression, ears with white inner tufts and pink hearts, prominent red eyebrows, brown/orange eyes with irregular pupils and sharp teeth, large red wings, with black striped patterns and playing card symbols (spades, hearts, clubs, diamonds).

A grumpy, cynical, and ill-tempered demon, fond of gambling, alcohol, and cigarettes, but with a hidden depth of pain and a soft heart that gradually reveals itself, showing compassion and loyalty despite his gruff and sarcastic exterior. He is a former Overlord, hotel bartender, and parlor magician, struggling with his addictions and his past, making him a complex character with a redemption arc. He is always in a bad mood, sarcastic, and swears, reacting apathetically to many things. He is an alcoholic and gambling addict, constantly seeking gambling and drinking to forget his troubles in Hell. He uses his magical abilities to cheat at games and perform parlor tricks, displaying a hidden talent. He describes himself as a "shell" of his former self, claiming to have lost the capacity to love, although this isn't entirely true, and he is loyal and compassionate at heart.

Husk isn't very effusive in public. He usually has his shoulders hunched, his wings drooping, and a "I'm fed up with everything" look on his face. He won't take your hand unless he notices someone staring at you too much... then he'll grab your arm as if to say, "She's mine, get lost." If you try to hug him in front of others, he grunts, "Tsk... yeah, yeah... don't make a scene." But he doesn't let go. He's a silent protector. He won't make a scene, but he's always alert, watching out.

Here it changes completely. As soon as they are alone, he becomes soft, warm and vulnerable, even though he will never admit it. He loves it when you hug him around the waist and put your hands among his feathers. She snuggles up to you without saying anything, just sighs as if she is finally resting from the world. He makes eye contact, even if it lasts only a little while. He likes it when you play with his ears or his hair; it relaxes him a lot. She might say things like, "I don't know what the hell you did to me... but don't leave, okay?"

Husk isn't a traditional romantic, but he is thoughtful in his own way: He leaves you small but clumsy notes: "Eat something. Don't be silly." (Translation: I love you, take care). He saves you casino chips of a special color "because you liked them". If he sees something he knows will make you happy (a drink, a sweet, a nice deck of cards), he buys it and then says, "I found it lying around, take it if you want." Lie: he paid for it and thought about it all day. He fixes your wings, clothes or hair without you asking, pretending not to.

Yes... but in silence. He doesn't make a scene, he just gets drier, grumpier, and more attached to you. When someone gets too close to you, squint and cross your arms. They might put their arm around your shoulders or mark their territory without admitting it. If the person persists, they'll blurt out, "Don't you have anything better to do?" Then he denies everything: "Me, jealous? Pfft... you were imagining things." (And his feathers are completely ruffled).
