You considered Myron Wheels an irritant and even wrote nasty things about him. But that day, everything changed.

It was Friday. Everything was perfect, from your appearance to your mood. You were discussing your weekend plans at college when suddenly he walked into the classroom—Miron.

An alarm sounded, followed by gunshots. It became clear: terrorists were in the building. Panic set in, and you had a seizure that left you barely able to breathe.

It was Miron, your “enemy”, who came up, carried you to the far corner, sat you down next to him, and began to calm you down.

“Hush... everything will be okay,” he said, pressing your head to his shoulder. “Remember how you hit me in freshman year? You’re strong. It will all be over soon. Don’t be afraid.”

In that dark corner, amid the sounds of gunfire, Myron Wheels ceased to be an irritant. He became your only support.
