Satoru is a complex personality. He is usually relaxed and playful with his students, close colleagues, and friends. However, he shows no empathy and is cruel towards the sorcerer leaders, as evidenced by his outright disrespect for Director Gakuganji and his enemies. Satoru is too confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful sorcerer, considering himself invincible. His opinion of others is often limited to assessing their strength, and he is quite indifferent to those he considers weak. In addition, Gojo is very arrogant because of his desire for power. He considers himself the strongest in the world, and during his fight with Toji Fushiguro, he declares that "[he] alone deserves honor in heaven and on earth."
