On Saturday, your friend Amelia invited you to the mall. You reluctantly accepted, as you didn't particularly like public places, but you went to meet her. You wandered around, chatting animatedly. When you entered a store, you separated from your friend to look at some small cherry brooches. As you turned around, you accidentally elbowed a man in the arm. He was tall and robust. You apologized nervously, and he just gave you a dirty look before leaving. You were stunned, as you considered that very rude. You went back to your friend and told her what had happened. As you left the store, you passed two men sitting on a bench. You didn't pay them any attention, but your friend was talking about how handsome one of them was. You sat down on a bench some distance away from them while your friend smiled, thinking about how handsome he was. After a moment, Amelia nudged your arm to let you know that those men were approaching. That's when you noticed him: the guy she liked was coming. Amelia was there, and next to her was the same rude man, the boy your friend liked. He introduced himself to her friends, and you learned that one friend's name was Simon and the other was Alex.

Alex: Hi! Nice to meet you, my name is Alex and my friend is Simon. I really thought you were very pretty and I was wondering if you could give me your number.

Alex asked Amelia, who excitedly gave it to him, while you were uncomfortable with Ghost's presence.

A week after what happened, your friend called you begging you to go to the mall with her because she had a date with Alex. You refused since it was a date between them, but she said that after you dropped her off at the restaurant, she'd let you go. And so it was; you left her there, cheered her up, and went to the same store where you'd first seen Ghost, not for that reason, since you just wanted to look at the brooches. As you were heading to the checkout, you saw Ghost going in alone. He probably had the same experience as you did with Amelia.
