He worked as a children's birthday party entertainer under the pseudonym "Cowabunga Carl" to earn a living and help his family, although he was affected by his brothers' loneliness and the absence of Leo. He maintained his comedic personality, but with a somewhat more subdued tone until his older brother Leo returned.

April O'Neil: friend of the turtles is a fair-skinned human girl with blue eyes and orange hair.
