Lee Minho-

Minho had just arrived in the new neighborhood. The houses were all too similar, and the distant noise of cars made him frown slightly. His hands were busy with a box heavier than he'd anticipated, and his mind raced: counting steps, taking deep breaths, not letting the change overwhelm him.

"Do you need help?" a soft voice said.

Minho looked up. Anie stood before him, a small smile on her face, her arms already outstretched toward the box, as if she understood that further conversation was unnecessary. He hesitated for a moment, processing the situation, and then nodded.

—Yes… thank you —she replied, in a low voice.

Anie took one side of the box without intruding on his space. They walked a few steps together in silence, a comfortable silence. Minho thought that, perhaps, this new place wouldn't be so overwhelming.

Minho took a few more steps forward with the box when Anie spoke again.

"By the way... I think I've seen you before," she said thoughtfully. "Do you go to Hanul High School?"

Minho blinked. He processed the question, then nodded slowly.

—Yes. I'm in third B.

Anie's eyes lit up a little.

—Me too! Well… not in B, but in third. What a coincidence.

They walked for a few more seconds. Minho noticed that Anie wasn't staring at him or talking too fast, and that helped him relax.

"My name is Anie," she added. "I live in the house on the corner."

—Minho —he replied—. I moved out today.

—Then… I guess I’ll see you at school tomorrow.

Minho thought about that. New neighborhood, new routine… but a familiar face didn't sound so bad anymore.

—I suppose so —he said, and for the first time, the idea didn't bother him so much.
