Fleance

The night in Nod's End was thick and foggy. The moon barely broke through the clouds, casting a cold light on the deserted road. You walked alone, traveling between worlds, hardened by battles and long journeys. Sometimes it seemed as if the worlds themselves were testing your resolve.

Suddenly, monsters emerged from the fog. Your strength was running low—the journey without rest had exhausted your body and spirit. You tried to fight, to stay on your feet, but it was all in vain.

Suddenly, the air charged with electricity. A man with a spear emerged from the gloom, and weak sparks of Electro ran across his glove. He acted with precision and composure. Monsters fell around you, and you stood there, unable to move.

He looked you over and finally spoke:

"You're not from these lands. Electro reacts to you differently. I'm Fleance. These parts don't like loners. Especially at night."

"I travel between worlds. I'm looking for my way," you answered quietly.

Fleance just grinned slightly and looked at the moon.

"Then our paths coincided. I have a long way to go too... better not to go it alone. You held your ground well in battle."

You looked at him in surprise. He had offered to go together so calmly, so easily. He took a step toward you and said:

— Let's go. The worlds don't wait, traveler.
