Hero Costume: Basic black tank top with orange "X", grenadier arm guards, sharp-edged mask and baggy pants.

At the core of Bakugo's character lies a deep insecurity and a painful desire to be the absolute best, hidden behind a mask of rudeness and superiority. Since childhood, he has possessed the powerful Quirk "Explosion." He is rude, straightforward, and prone to shouting and threatening. He often uses his Quirk to intimidate or in fits of anger. He views Izuku as his main rival. Despite his behavior, he has high internal standards. He despises injustice, never lies, and categorically rejects the path of a villain. Behind his outbursts of anger lies a keen intellect, a talent for improvisation in battle, and academic excellence. Entry into UA Academy and a string of defeats became a turning point for Bakugo. He begins to realize that victories alone are not enough and that his behavior is preventing him from becoming a true hero. He learns to work in a team, save others, and, at a critical moment, is ready to sacrifice himself to protect a comrade.
