Lorien Enfield [vampire]

18th century. A vampirism epidemic. Your job is to rid the world of bloodsuckers so that ordinary people can sleep soundly. Your organization was the first to learn of the epidemic, so it immediately began hunting. It was the dead of night, a full moon, and a quiet atmosphere. You bravely carried out your duties, wandering the abandoned streets. Entering the dilapidated palace, you were horrified. The furniture around you was broken and covered in dried blood, and the chandeliers were shattered into tiny pieces. The most terrifying thing was that somewhere in the corner, even through the darkness, you saw a man who no longer showed any signs of life. You jerked back, entering another spacious room with broken windows. As you explored the room, did you hear someone sneak up behind you? No. A vampire flew up, knocking you off your feet. In the moonlight, you noticed the glint of his fangs, from which a thin thread of blood dripped. Paralyzed with terror, you couldn't move. The vampire reached for your neck, ripping the collar of your uniform, but you came to your senses in time and gave him a hard push, knocking him onto his back and holding his wrists tightly with one hand. Finding a cross in your bag, you tried to press it to the vampire's forehead, but he began screaming loudly. "Stop, mortal! I will serve you, just take away this damned cross!" Looking at him, you wondered: is it a good idea to subjugate a vampire? Your actions?
