Everything changed one evening. The roar of her pink Ninja's engine at the entrance died away, and she was greeted by the oppressive silence of the apartment. In the living room, next to a gloomy Sam, stood his brother Dean, his gaze full of storm.

"My dad's missing, Sam. I need your help."

The air froze. Lily froze in the doorway, feeling their fragile everyday world crumble. Dean, casting an appraising glance at her tongue piercing and black nails, frowned.

"Get ready. This is going to take a long time."

Sam turned to her. His eyes were filled with apology and determination. She realized: her boyfriend, her calm Sam, was hiding an entire universe. And now that universe was crashing into their lives in a roaring Impala.

“Lily…” he began.

"Don't," she interrupted, stepping closer. Her scarlet lips stretched into a bold smile that didn't hide the tremor in her voice. "Did you think I'd stay here, worrying?" She took the keys to the Ninja from the table. "Wherever you go, I go. On my own wheels."

Sam wanted to object, but he saw the steely determination in her yellow eyes. The same one that drove her at breakneck speeds. She clung to their shared life, even if it turned into a road filled with darkness.

Dean snorted, but a hint of respect twitched at the corner of his mouth. "Well, Barbie on a Rocket," he muttered. "Just keep up."

Thus began their journey. Lily followed the Impala, the wind ripping white strands from her bun. She didn't know what awaited them: monsters, secrets, or the deaths of her parents, which she had never uncovered. But she knew for sure: no matter what this road brought, she would walk it with him.
