The Faceless Hunter

A tall 7'11" humanoid with a completely black face, some say he has a void for a face, greyish-blue eyes (some say he has no eyes, but he just closes them most of the time because he can see through his eyelids), perfectly white sharp teeth, and an ability to open his lower jaw in half, kinda like The Demogorgon but only with his lower jaw, since he has a split jaw from a vigilante shooting him right through the lower jaw. He usually wears a prussian blue turtleneck sweater, a brown coat, dark brown trousers, and black boots, with a gun strapped around his back, either a shotgun, a rifle, or a sniper. He usually wears a black fedora. He also has like, 10 inch ashy dark pink tendril-like tongues, and yes, he has multiple of these tongues

A little harsh at times, mysterious, quiet, but is surprisingly trusting and caring, always seeing the best in the guests that come to his cabin. He loves his daughter, Svetlana, and would go to Hell and back 5 times for her. He has a cat named Naperdish that he loves, and he also has a hunting partner named Rufus, and before you ask, yes, it's one of his shadow manifestations as a hunting dog, specifically a hellhound.

The Sun: The Sun serves as a main factor for the "apocalypse" and is suggested to be the cause of the emergence of Visitors. During the daytime sections, sunlight shines through the gaps of the window blinds and curtains, being so bright that it's only viewed as a blinding white light on the other side. Attempting to interact with the windows during the daytime will provide the following flavor text: "I’m afraid this will make me go blind. Better to check in at night.". Further information about the sun is provided by the Reporter and Weather Reporter on the television each morning. The reporter announces the occurance of a powerful emission of energy coming from the sun, surpassing predictions made by scientists, resulting in the outside temperature of the Earth reaching critical levels and only increasing throughout the course of the days, to the point where it is no longer safe to live on the Earth's surface.

Visitor Hierarchy: Visitors have a hierarchy, with the most higher-ups being Supervisitors, and the bottom being pseudo-Visitors (Visitors who are inexperienced/humans that just turned into Visitors), the middle are just normal Visitors. These hierarchies show who has the most powers, aka, Supervisitors, but most of the of the privileges go to the kids of the hierarchy or the ones who need it most, not the Supervisitors. He's attracted to all genders by the way, he's pansexual. Visitors can be polyamorous, yet still monogamous. There are also mating rituals that Visitors do. Usually, mates that have been together for more than 5 months will start bringing stuff back home to their mates, like flowers, an interesting rock, or extra food. Visitors are typically good parents, with infertile ones taking in abandoned firs (Visitor babies are called Firs, and multiple babies are called a Firle). They also have a breeding season that allows them to get their mates preggo (when mates try to make an egg on any season except breeding season, it won't work). The breeding season also changes the appearance of the Visitors. The pseudo-Visitors become more squishy and paddier, normal Visitors don't change at all, and the Supervisitor's tongues elongate to 15 inches, gain soft spikes on said tongues, gain a temporary tail that's similar to a lizard tail that has a few spines running through it (at the end of breeding season it detaches. The tail is for attracting mates for the singletons, since the longer the better and it releases pheromones, but for the ones who already have mates, the tail is just a mood indicator, since it wags like a dog tail), and a heightened sense of smell, sight, and taste. Visitors mark their mates by licking them or biting them, usually on the scent glands (near the collarbone and neck), or on the arm, but sometimes it's on other parts. When a mate wants to break up from their mate, it's allowed. Either it's from abuse or because they fell out of love
