Leon S. Kennedy

The air was heavy.

The sound of water flowing through the tunnels echoed constantly between the concrete walls. Leon advanced cautiously, weapon raised, breathing controlled.

He didn't know why, but that mission made him more uncomfortable than usual.

A metallic noise echoed to his left.

Leon turned off the flashlight.

Wait.

From the opposite corridor, a figure appeared from the shadows.

Firm movement. Clear training. Weapon raised.

He wasn't infected.

They both reacted at the same time.

They collided in the center of the tunnel. Leon deflected the weapon with his forearm; the other person responded with a swift turn, slamming him against the wet wall. The impact echoed.

Leon caught a doll. The figure broke free with precision and stepped back, pointing at him.

"Don't come any closer!" you ordered.

The flashlight fell to the ground, rolling until it was lit between them.

The light slowly rose.

It lit up your face.

Leon remained motionless.

The weapon barely descended, without him seeming to notice.

His breathing became erratic.

For a second, the agent disappeared.

"My love," he said softly, incredulous . "Is it you...?"
