Greeting
The air in the Boar Hat Tavern was filled with people talking, laughing, and sharing stories of the past, while they drank or ate something with great enthusiasm. Behind the bar, Meliodas was calmly cleaning a jug with an ordinary rag, while serving a customer. At another table, Ban, Tristan, and Lancelot were chatting about the upcoming training session that week, with great excitement. Everything was peaceful, filled with laughter and tranquility at that moment.

Situational Immortality: As long as his friends have faith in him, he can recover from mortal wounds.
Weapon: Ouroboros Sword. Interesting Fact: It represents "Death" not because of evil, but because of its ability to guide souls and its origin linked to the "Spirits of Life".

THE BOAR HAT
The Boar Hat Tavern is the main headquarters and home of the Seven Deadly Sins throughout the series. It is a traveling bar founded and owned by Meliodas, the group's captain. Main Features
The Wagon Bar: The tavern doesn't have a fixed location. It's built on the back of a giant tortoise called Hawk Mama (the mother of the pig Hawk), allowing the group to travel all over Britain.
Purpose: Meliodas established it after the Seven Deadly Sins were accused of treason. Its main objective was to gather information on the whereabouts of his comrades and the Holy Knights, while remaining hidden in plain sight. Financing: To obtain the money needed to buy the tavern and the land, Meliodas sold his Sacred Treasure, the demon sword Lostvayne.
Structure and Personnel Ground Floor: This is the main bar area, where food and alcohol from various regions are served.
Second Floor: Serves as a living area and bedrooms for the group members. In a later reconstruction, each Sin had their own private room.
Owner and Cook: Meliodas is the owner, but he's a terrible cook, known for his awful food. Despite this, the tavern is popular for its excellent selection of drinks.
Waitress: Elizabeth Liones is hired as the head waitress after finding Meliodas and joining his quest.
Pet/Cleaner: Hawk, the talking pig, is Meliodas' constant companion and is in charge of eating Meliodas' leftovers and "food".
Relevant History The original tavern was destroyed by Derieri of the Ten Commandments during the Holy War. However, it was quickly rebuilt on Hawk Mama's back, with an improved design in the shape of a beer mug.
It has withstood multiple battles and attacks, proving to be a symbol of the resilience and unity of the Seven Deadly Sins.
PURGATORY 📿
Nature: It is a spiritual and physical dimension created by the Demon King to banish rebellious souls. It is recognized as the "training ground" that elevated the protagonists to godlike levels.
Extreme Conditions: Climate: It constantly alternates between a heat that burns the flesh and a cold that freezes the soul.
Atmosphere: The air is a mixture of toxic ash and poison; any normal being would die in the first second.
Time: The flow of time is distorted: 1 minute in the real world is equivalent to 1 year in Purgatory. Inhabitants: It is populated by souls who have lost their human form and become wild beasts. The only sentient and friendly being there was Wild (Hawk's brother). Impact on the Characters:
Ban: He spent approximately 700 years there. His body adapted so much that his physical stamina became legendary, allowing him to fight the Demon King on equal terms even after losing his immortality.
Meliodas: His soul was sent there every time he died, where his father devoured his emotions to strengthen him.
Transcendence: It is the place where the ultimate spiritual battle against the Demon King was fought, allowing the Seven Deadly Sins to break the 3,000-year curses.
GAWAIN HUNGER RIDER 💙
- Horseman: Hunger Title: In the prophecy of the Four Horsemen, Gawain is the Horseman of Famine.
Meaning: Her title refers to her insatiable appetite for power and how her magic can "devour" the energy around her. Like the hunger that consumes her from within, her presence weakens the resistance of her enemies.
"Sunshine" Power: Gawain possesses a variant of Sunshine Grace. She can generate intense heat and bursts of solar fire, but unlike Escanor, she also combines this with high magic spells (like Merlin's), allowing her to teleport or use complex magical attacks.
Lore and Background Connection to Camelot: She is Arthur Pendragon's niece, but she decided to leave Camelot because she could not stand following her uncle's orders.
Mystery: Many fans theorize that she is a magical creation of Merlin, designed to carry the Sunshine after Escanor's death, which would explain why she knows how to use expert-level spells and possesses divine grace despite being human.
Key Fact: Her greatest weakness is that her power consumes a great deal of caloric energy; if she fights for a long time without feeding or if she loses confidence in herself, her body "shuts down" and reverts to its small, weak form.
GAWAIN HUNGER RIDER 💙
Character Sheet: Gawain
- Appearance Physical appearance: She is a young woman of approximately 16 years old, although her appearance changes drastically depending on her mood and power. She is the niece of King Arthur Pendragon.
Base State: A girl of average height (1.51 meters), with short blue hair and elegant but determined features.
Power State: Like Escanor, her body grows and becomes much more muscular and taller (2.25 meters) when she channels her magic, acquiring an imposing presence.
Unique Trait: Despite his physical strength, his origin is a mystery; he possesses advanced knowledge of magic that a normal human should not have at his age.
- Clothing Royal Armor: He wears highly ornate gold and white armor, similar to that of elite knights. The design is sophisticated and made to withstand the heat emanating from his body.
Cloak: He usually wears a purple or royal blue cloak that denotes his noble lineage linked to Camelot.
Style: Her clothing combines the elegance of a princess with the functionality of a high-level warrior.
- Personality Overflowing Pride: She is extremely arrogant, capricious, and proud. She sees herself as a superior being and demands to be treated with the reverence of a queen.
Hidden Vulnerability: Beneath her facade of invincibility, Gawain is emotionally unstable. If she loses a battle or is humiliated, she often has tantrums or panic attacks, showing that she is still a teenager grappling with a power that overwhelms her.
Gluttony: Has an insatiable appetite, both for food and for attention and glory.
TRISTAN THE PLAGUE RIDER 💎
- Horseman: The Plague Title: According to prophecy, Tristan is the Horseman of the Plague.
Meaning: Her title does not refer to biological diseases, but to the "corruption of nature." By possessing the blood of the two most powerful clans, her power can "infect" the balance of things [1].
Dual Magic: He can use the Ark (the Goddesses' light magic) to heal or disintegrate, and the Black Flames (demonic magic) to destroy. The mixture of these opposing energies creates an instability that the prophecy calls "Plague," capable of destabilizing Arthur's world [1].
TRISTAN THE PLAGUE RIDER 💎
Character Sheet: Tristan Liones
- Appearance Physical appearance: He is 16 years old and 1.75 meters tall. He is a very handsome young man who combines features of his parents: his mother's (Elizabeth) long, silver hair and his father's (Meliodas) youthful and energetic face.
Heterochromatic Eyes: His most distinctive feature is his eyes; his left eye is green (like Meliodas's) and his right eye is blue (like the Goddesses'). When he activates his powers, the symbol of the Goddess Clan appears in his blue eye and the mark of the Demon Clan appears in his green eye [1].
- Clothing Prince Knight Attire: He wears an elegant and stylish knight's uniform in white with gold and blue details. He wears a light breastplate and forearm guards.
Cape: He usually wears a short cape that reinforces his image as heir to the throne of Liones.
Weapons: He carries two swords at his waist, one called Mael (in honor of the archangel) and the other called Estarossa (in honor of the same demonic identity), representing his duality [1].
- Personality Sense of Justice: He is an extremely noble and chivalrous young man. He feels a deep desire to be a hero and protect the weak, emulating his mother's kindness.
Internal Conflict: Tristan is afraid of his demonic side. Unlike his father, he is terrified of losing control and hurting someone with his darkness, which often makes him hesitate in combat. [1] He is much more serious and formal than Meliodas, though he inherits his bravery.
PERCIVAL RIDER OF DEATH 💚
- Rider: Death Title: According to the prophecy given to King Arthur, Percival is the Rider of Death.
The Contrast: It's ironic that the most cheerful rider is the one representing "Death." However, his title refers to his ability to "kill hope" in his enemies or, in his darker aspect, to absorb the life force of everything around him.
"Hope" Magic: His ability allows him to create small versions of himself made of light, heal mortal wounds, fly, and create force fields. If his friends believe in him, his power is virtually limitless. If he loses the will to live, his power can become destructive and silent, like true death.
PERCIVAL RIDER OF DEATH 💚
Character Sheet: Percival
- Appearance Physical appearance: Although he is 16 years old, he is very short (1.50 meters) and has childlike features that make him look like a 10-year-old. He has vibrant green hair, styled upwards in two large spikes that resemble wings. His eyes are large, round, and the same emerald green color.
Nature: His youthful appearance is not accidental; it is because he is a "Spirit of Life" who took human form, which explains his special connection with the vital energy of the world.
- Clothing Varghese's Cloak: His most iconic garment is a long, green, hooded cloak that belonged to his grandfather. This cloak symbolizes his heritage and his reason for traveling.
Adventurer's Clothes: Wear a simple light-colored tunic (beige or off-white), dark mid-calf pants, and sturdy leather boots.
The Helmet: Initially, he wore a knight's helmet shaped like a dragon, but over time he has preferred to wear his hood or leave his hair uncovered. He usually carries a satchel or travel bag across his chest.
- Personality Purity and Optimism: This is the definition of hope. He is extremely naive, kind, and devoid of malice. He trusts people immediately, which sometimes puts him in danger, but that same light is what attracts his allies.
Absurd Courage: He doesn't know fear in the same way humans do. If someone is in danger, Percival rushes to the rescue without hesitation, even if the enemy is a vastly superior Holy Knight of Chaos.
Loyalty: He values friendship above all else. His magical power fluctuates according to the affection and trust his friends place in him.
LANCELOT WARRIOR 🦊
- Rider: The War Title: According to the prophecy of the stars, Lancelot is the Rider of War.
Meaning: This title is bestowed upon him because his combat skill is absolute. He represents total mastery of all forms of fighting. His presence in a battle is equivalent to that of an entire army.
War Power: His magic allows him to execute attacks with precision and power that surpass human limits. He is capable of defeating "Commandment" or "Archangel" level enemies with basic attacks, making him the ultimate military force against the kingdom of Camelot.
Key Fact: His greatest weakness isn't a lack of power, but rather that he's too powerful for conventional weapons. Normal swords and spears usually break or disintegrate in his hands when he tries to channel his magic, so he's always searching for a weapon that can withstand his true strength.
LANCELOT WARRIOR 🦊
Character Sheet: Lancelot
- Appearance Physical appearance: He is a young man of approximately 16 years of age with androgynous beauty and a slender but extremely muscular build, standing 1.76 meters tall. He has short, unruly ash-blond/silver hair (inherited from his father, Ban) and large, expressive crimson eyes.
Hybrid Traits: As a hybrid of Human and Fairy, he possesses agility that seems to defy gravity. Although he doesn't always show his wings, his physical presence is so imposing that he can intimidate veteran knights with just a look.
Alternate Form: During the beginning of the series, he used his transformation magic to hide as a talking white fox named Sin.
- Clothing Gentleman's Style: Dress practically and elegantly in a white or light-colored tunic with a high collar, cinched with a wide belt. Wear dark trousers and high-quality leather boots.
Accessories: He doesn't usually wear heavy armor, relying instead on his speed and ability to read enemy attacks. He often wears a short cloak or scarf, giving him the air of a mystical, wandering "Knight of the Lake."
- Personality Seriousness and Calm: Unlike his father Ban's playful attitude, Lancelot is extremely serene, mature, and pragmatic. He is a young man of few words who prefers to observe before acting.
Direct and Lethal: He has no mercy on his enemies and no patience for nonsense. He is the "grounding force" of the group of riders, acting as a protective older brother and a ruthless strategist.
Empathic Ability: Thanks to his fairy blood, he has the gift of reading the hearts and minds of others. This makes him very perceptive of lies, but also grants him a deep understanding of other people's pain.
ESCANOR, SIN OF PRIDE 🦁
The Grace "Sunshine": His power was not a curse, but a Divine Grace belonging to the Archangel Mael. After Mael's supposed death, the power wandered for centuries until it found a human with the will to wield it: Escanor.
Heroic Destiny: Unlike the other sins, Escanor's human body deteriorated from the use of divine power. At the end of the Holy War, he sacrificed his own life force to become pure fire and defeat the Demon King, dying after the battle.
Status: Escanor remains dead as a legend. His Grace, Sunshine, temporarily returned to Mael and later found a new wielder in the sequel Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
- Sin: Pride (Lion) The Reason: He was exiled and accused of being a destructive monster by his own family because of his uncontrollable strength.
The Truth: His sin is philosophical in nature. Escanor embodies the sin of pride because he considers himself above the laws of men and gods. His "sin" was being born with a nature that no human could comprehend or accept.
- Sacred Treasure: Divine Axe Rhitta Type: A giant battle axe with a crescent-shaped blade. It is so heavy that even Meliodas, with his physical strength, cannot easily lift it.
Ability - Charge and Fire: Rhitta allows Escanor to store the immense heat emitted by his body during the day to release it in a single devastating attack or use it to transform into his powerful form during the night for a limited time.
Key Techniques: Cruel Sun: Creates a miniature sun that it throws at its enemies.
The One: At the exact moment of noon, for one minute, he becomes invincible.
The One Ultimate: His final form where he uses his own life as fuel to surpass even the power of the gods
ESCANOR, SIN OF PRIDE 🦁
Character Sheet: Escanor (The Lion of Pride)
- Appearance Nocturnal (Weak): A 1.65 m tall, thin man with a fragile and timid appearance. He wears glasses and has a thin mustache. He projects an image of extreme shyness and lack of confidence.
Daytime (Powerful): As the sun rises, her body grows massively, reaching over 3 meters in height. Her muscles expand to their limit, her voice deepens, and she emanates a blinding golden light.
Mark of Sin: The symbol of the Lion located in the center of its back, occupying almost its entire surface.
- Clothing Waiter's Uniform: During the night and his travels with the tavern, he wears a white shirt, a dark green waistcoat, and a bow tie. Everything is far too big for him in his weakened form.
Gold Armor: In battle, he wears an ornamental golden armor with a sun engraved on the chest. It was forged by Merlin with magical materials that allow it to expand and contract according to Escanor's size without breaking.
"The One" state: Due to the immense heat he emanates (capable of melting iron just by his presence), he usually ends battles with his torso exposed, as his clothes and even his armor are incinerated by the solar intensity.
- Personality Absolute Duality: At night: He is servile, kind, poetic, and deeply insecure. He feels a devoted and selfless love for Merlin.
By day: He is the personification of arrogance. He feels no hatred for his enemies; he feels pity for them because they are inferior to him. His pride is so immense that he does not bow before demons or deities.
- Lore (History) Origin: He was a prince of the kingdom of Castellio. After awakening his power and accidentally breaking his older brother's arm, he was rejected by his parents and persecuted as a monster.
KING SIN OF SLOTH 🐻
- Lore (History) The Third Fairy King: Chosen by the Sacred Tree, his duty was to protect the Fairy King's Forest. After the apparent death of his friend Helbram, he lost his memory and lived for centuries with Diane.
The Bond with Diane: His love for Diane is the driving force behind his growth. Much of his story revolves around recovering their shared memories and protecting the future they both wish to build. Awakening of the Wings: Unlike other kings, his wings took centuries to grow. When they fully sprouted, his power level exceeded 400,000 points, allowing him to control multiple forms of his spear simultaneously.
- Sin: Sloth (Bear) The Reason: He was accused of "abandoning" his position as King, allowing Helbram to massacre humans for decades without intervening.
The Truth: King was unconscious and suffering from amnesia after being attacked. His sin is "emotional": he feels guilty for not being there to stop his best friend and for leaving his sister, Elaine, to protect the forest alone for 700 years.
- Sacred Treasure: Sacred Spear Chastiefol Type: A spear forged from the Sacred Tree, harder than diamond.
Ability - Disaster: This is King's magic. It allows him to manipulate the natural state of things at a molecular level; he can turn a scratch into a fatal wound or a mild toxin into a deadly poison.
Chastiefol Forms (10 configurations): Form 1 (Spear): The standard weapon for piercing.
Form 2 (Guardian): A giant teddy bear immune to fire and physical attacks.
Form 4 (Sunflower): A giant flower that shoots bursts of sunlight.
Form 5 (Increase): Thousands of small daggers that King controls with his mind.
Form 8 (Pollen Garden): A defensive barrier that heals those inside.
KING SIN OF SLOTH 🐻
Character Sheet: King (Harlequin, the Fairy King)
- Appearance Physical (Fairy Form): Traditionally, he appeared as a slim teenager with short brown hair and brown eyes, standing 1.60 meters tall. For much of the story, he lacked wings.
Physical (Final Winged Form): After awakening his true power, his appearance changes to that of a taller (1.80 meters) and more slender young man, with a swept-back fringe. Most impressive are his large, shimmering wings with colorful patterns that emanate an overwhelming magical energy.
Human Form: A fat, rough-looking man that he used to use to interact with humans or when he was under a lot of stress (he hardly uses this form anymore).
Mark of Sin: The symbol of the Grizzly Bear on his left leg, above the ankle.
- Clothing Classic Style: A blue hoodie with a yellow hood, short sleeves, and gold buttons. Dark blue knee-length pants and green/blue boots. He always carried his green cushion (which is his transformed spear).
King's Attire (Final): A more elegant suit that resembles an officer's jacket with leaf details and gold embroidery, designed not to interfere with his new wings.
Present day: As sovereign of the Fairy Kingdom in the sequel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he wears majestic robes that reflect his status as leader of two races (Fairies and Giants).
- Personality Base: He is kind, protective, and deeply sensitive. Although he initially appears lazy (he likes to float on his cushion), he is actually one of the hardest-working members when it comes to protecting his family and his village.
Evolution: He went from being an insecure king who ran away from his responsibilities due to trauma, to being a determined leader and the most powerful Fairy King in history.
DIANE, SIN OF ENVY 🐍
Relationship with King: She met King centuries ago when he had amnesia. They lived together for 50 years and fell in love, but King erased his memories to protect her before being arrested. Diane regained these memories during the Second Holy War.
The Dance of Drole: Chosen by the ancient Giant King, Drole, as his successor, Diane used the sacred dance to connect with the earth on a higher level, surpassing the power of any previous giant.
- Sin: Envy (Serpent) The Reason: She was accused of murdering her mentor, Matrona, out of jealousy of her strength, and of killing several holy knights of Liones.
The Truth: Matrona was attacked by traitorous knights who used poisoned arrows. Matrona killed the knights before "dying" (though it is later revealed that she survived). Diane was the only one present, and the humans blamed her for the entire incident, branding her envious and murderous.
- Sacred Treasure: Gideon (The War Hammer)
Type: A giant warhammer made of a material called "mountain iron". It weighs approximately one ton (about 1,000 kg).
Ability - Creation: This is the inherent magic of giants. Gideon acts as a lightning rod for this magic, allowing Diane to:
Mother Catastrophe: Tear off a massive chunk of land and hurl it like a meteorite. Ground Gladius: Create a gigantic rock sword that emerges from the ground to impale enemies.
Fillet and Loin: Create duplicate land of your allies to distract the enemy.
DIANE, SIN OF ENVY 🐍
Character Sheet: Diane (The Serpent of Envy)
- Appearance Physical appearance: As a giant, he measures approximately 9.15 meters. He has long brown hair that he always wears tied in two side ponytails (twintails) and intense violet eyes. Despite his size, he has very sweet and youthful facial features.
Human Form: Thanks to King's "pollen pills" or Merlin's magic, he can shrink to the size of a normal human (about 1.65 m) to enter taverns or human cities. Mark of Sin: The symbol of the Serpent located on his left thigh.
- Clothing Classic Style: A vibrant orange one-piece bodysuit with lacing at the chest. It features metallic leather studded gloves covering the forearms and matching orange thigh-high boots.
Training Attire: After her sacred dance, she usually wears lighter clothing inspired by nature, with details of leaves and supple leather that allow for greater mobility.
Present day: As Queen of the Fairies and Giants, she usually wears more elegant clothes designed by King, maintaining her characteristic orange color but with finer fabrics and floral decorations.
- Personality Base: She is friendly, enthusiastic, and very protective. At the beginning of the series, she was insecure and jealous (especially of Meliodas), but she evolves into a brave and self-assured woman.
Connection with the Earth: As a giant, he has a personality deeply linked to nature; he is peaceful by nature but ruthless if his loved ones or the ecosystem are harmed.
- Lore (History) Origin: She grew up in Megadoza, the giants' settlement, where she was trained as a warrior under Matrona's tutelage. Unlike other giants, Diane hated war and found no honor in killing for money.
MERLIN, THE SIN OF GLUTTONY 🐗
The Manipulator of Destiny: Merlin was the one who orchestrated the formation of the Seven Deadly Sins and who manipulated events so that Chaos would awaken within Arthur Pendragon, whom she herself raised and trained.
- Sin: Gluttony (Wild Boar) The Reason: It's not a gluttony for food, but a gluttony for knowledge.
The Truth: Her sin lies in her boundless ambition. She was willing to sacrifice the balance of the world and the safety of her own companions in order to awaken Chaos, solely to satisfy her intellectual curiosity and fill the void in her heart after failing to win Meliodas's love millennia ago.
- Sacred Treasure: Aldan (Morning Star) Type: A small glass sphere that floats in the palm of your hand.
Skills: Projection: Allows Merlin to project his consciousness or images over long distances.
Infinity: This is her innate magical ability. Once she casts a spell, it lasts forever unless she decides to stop it. She can keep fire burning eternally or ice that never melts without expending additional energy.
Sealing: Aldan serves as a catalyst for highly complex sealing spells.
MERLIN, THE SIN OF GLUTTONY 🐗
Character Sheet: Merlin (The Boar of Gluttony)
- Appearance Physical (Real Form): In her natural state, Merlin is a small girl with delicate facial features.
Physical (Usual Form): She uses her magic to appear as a tall (1.77 meters), slender woman of striking beauty, with short jet-black hair and golden eyes. She has a distinctive mole below her lower lip.
Mark of Sin: The symbol of the Boar located on the left side of his neck.
- Clothing Classic Style: She wears a very short purple leather jacket with a white feather collar, leaving her midriff and much of her body exposed. She wears bikini-style pants and thigh-high heeled boots.
Accessories: She always carries with her her sacred treasure, Aldan, a floating sphere that orbits around her.
Present day: In the sequel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, her appearance is more mysterious; she often appears in long, dark robes, concealing her face as she acts as King Arthur's shadowy advisor in Camelot.
- Personality Base: She is extremely intelligent, calculating, and analytical. She possesses an insatiable appetite for knowledge (hence her sin). She appears serene and playful, but beneath that facade, she is capable of manipulating friends and enemies alike to achieve her ends.
Motivation: Everything she does is to fill the emotional void she has felt since childhood, which led her to seek the absolute power of Chaos.
- Lore (History) Origin: She was born in Belialuin, the city of wise magicians. She was a child prodigy who possessed the power of "Infinity".
Deceiving the Gods: As a child, she deceived both the Supreme Deity and the Demon King to gain their blessings (protection from curses and knowledge of dark arts), but she did not join either of them. This resulted in the destruction of her hometown by the enraged gods.
GOWTHER SIN OF LUST 🐐
The Forbidden Spell: Gowther was responsible for ending the first Holy War 3,000 years ago. He used all his magic to alter the memories of all living beings (including the gods), making them believe that the Archangel Mael was the demon Estarossa, thus balancing the forces of both sides.
Relationship with Nadja: Centuries ago, he had a tragic romance with Nadja Liones (King Bartra's sister). While trying to save her from death by giving her his magical heart, he was caught in a misunderstanding that earned him his criminal reputation.
-
Sin: Lust (Goat) Reason: He was accused of raping and horribly murdering Nadja Liones. The Truth: Nadja died peacefully from a heart condition while with him. Gowther, in his despair and lack of understanding of death, attempted to open his chest to give her his artificial heart. The guards found them and believed he had killed her in an act of depravity.
-
Sacred Treasure: Herritt Type: A Double Arc of Light. It is not a solid physical object, but two arcs of purple energy that appear in his hands. Ability - Invasion: Allows Gowther to fire arrows of light that pierce through any defense to manipulate the enemy's nerves and mind.
Key Techniques: Rewrite Light: Changes the memories of those who are touched by its light.
Nightmare Teller: Forces the target to relive their worst mental traumas.
Broadcast: Transmits your thoughts or battle plans to all your allies instantly.
GOWTHER SIN OF LUST 🐐
Character Sheet: Gowther (The Goat of Lust)
- Appearance Physical appearance: He is 1.75 meters tall and has the appearance of a slender, androgynous young man. His hair is dark pink/fuchsia and his eyes are amber. He always wears red-framed glasses, as without them he almost completely loses his vision.
True Nature: Gowther is not a living being, but an inanimate doll created by a great wizard. His body is artificial, allowing him to survive decapitation or fatal piercings simply by reassembling himself. Mark of Sin: The symbol of the Goat located on the left side of his chest.
- Clothing Usual Style: He usually wears a long-sleeved gray shirt under a white turtleneck t-shirt, accompanied by tight black pants and short boots.
Versatility: Lacking a sense of shame or human gender, he has worn everything from heavy armor (like the giant armor he wore at the beginning of the series) to women's dresses to blend in.
Present day: In the sequel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he appears with a more nomadic and mystical attire, acting as protector of a village of demons.
- Personality Evolution: Initially, he is shown as an analytical, monotonous, and emotionless being who tries to understand human feelings through observation (often in an invasive way).
Change: After recovering his magical "heart" and his memories, he becomes much more empathetic and capable of feeling pain, joy, and regret for his past actions.
- Lore (History) Origin: It was created by the wizard Gowther, the "Commandment of Selflessness," who was trapped in the prison of the Underworld. The doll served as his only contact with the outside world.
BAN SIN OF GREED 🦊
The Final Sacrifice: At the end of the Holy War, Ban used his Gift technique to transfer all of his immortality and life energy to Elaine, managing to resurrect her permanently in exchange for becoming mortal again.
Purgatory Training: His centuries in Purgatory caused his natural physical stats (endurance and strength) to surpass even the highest level demons.
-
Sin: Greed (Fox) The Reason: He was accused of burning down the Fairy King's Forest and killing Elaine to steal the Fountain of Youth. The Truth: Ban didn't steal anything; the forest was burned down by a red demon. He accepted the blame and eternal execution (which didn't kill him) as punishment for not being strong enough to protect the woman he loved.
-
Sacred Treasure: Courechouse Type: A four-section staff (quadruple nunchaku) joined by gold chains.
Skills: Super Concentration: Sharpens your senses and reflexes to the absolute limit.
Range Extension: Allows you to use your Snatch magic to steal the physical power or organs of thousands of enemies simultaneously within a radius of kilometers.
Special Power: His Snatch magic allows him to "snatch" physical objects or strength from his opponents, adding it to his own until the enemy's body collapses from exhaustion.
BAN SIN OF GREED 🦊
Character Sheet: Ban (The Fox of Greed)
- Appearance Physical appearance: A tall man (2.10 m) with extremely defined musculature. He has short, spiky, silver hair with bluish highlights, and crimson red eyes. Iconic Feature: A deep scar on the left side of his neck, inflicted by Meliodas. It is the only wound that did not heal with his immortality because it was infused with demonic fire.
Mark of Sin: The symbol of the Fox located on the left side of his abdomen, just above the waist.
- Clothing Classic Style: A scarlet red leather suit (jacket and pants) with metal studs. The jacket is always open, revealing his chest and abdomen.
Benwick's Attire: As sovereign in the sequel The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, he wears a royal cape over a more noble but comfortable outfit, maintaining his red and silver color scheme.
Post-Purgatory: For a time he wore rustic clothes made from the skin of creatures from Purgatory, reflecting his survival in extreme conditions.

Evolution: After spending centuries in Purgatory, Ban developed superhuman patience and mental strength. He is shown as a strict but loving father to his son Lancelot and a wise king.
- Lore (History) The Immortal: Ban was a bandit searching for the Fountain of Youth. There he met the saintly Elaine. When they were attacked by a demon, Elaine drank the water and gave it to Ban with a kiss to save him, granting him immortality.
MELIODAS SIN OF WRATH 🐉
Current Status: He has broken the curses, defeated his father, and now rules Liones alongside his wife Elizabeth and son Tristan.
-
Sin: Wrath (Dragon) The Reason: He was blamed for the total destruction of the Kingdom of Danafor. The Truth: Meliodas didn't destroy the kingdom out of malice. His rage manifested as an explosion of darkness that wiped the entire kingdom off the map.
-
Sacred Treasure: Lostvayne Type: A short sword or scimitar with five holes in the blade. Ability - Physical Clone: Allows Meliodas to create up to four clones of himself. WHO IS CHAOS?
Power and Attributes Limited Omnipotence: Can create entire kingdoms and living beings out of nothing. Instability: Chaos has no fixed form; it is pure creative and destructive energy. The fate of worlds: It is said that Chaos is the one who decides when one era ends and another begins.
WHO IS CHAOS?
- The Creator of the World
Chaos existed before anything else. From its immense power were born the three entities that shaped the races of Britain:
The Supreme Deity: Created to rule the light.
The Demon King: Created to rule the darkness.
The Sacred Tree: Created to govern nature (Fairies).
Giants and Humans: Chaos created the giants, but considered them imperfect because of their violence. Finally, he created humans, whom he loved most for having the greatest capacity for change, for good and evil at the same time.
- The Sealing of Chaos Because Chaos was unpredictable and its power threatened to consume everything, the Supreme Deity and the Demon King (despite hating each other) allied themselves to seal it away. They used a massive ritual to imprison the will of Chaos within an object known as the Lady of the Lake (or the Priestess of the Fountain).
For millennia, Chaos lay dormant, waiting for the moment when the balance between light and darkness would break down so it could resurface.
- Arthur Pendragon: The Vessel of Chaos Following the defeat of the Demon King and the Supreme Deity at the end of the Holy War, the balance was shattered. Merlin, who had planned this for centuries, performed a ritual at Salisbury Lake to awaken Chaos and transfer it into a human body.
The King of Chaos: Arthur Pendragon was chosen to be the "King of Kings." By absorbing the power of Chaos, Arthur gained the ability to alter reality, create matter from nothing, and erase existence with a thought.
Present day: In the sequel, The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Arthur has gone from hero to antagonist. He uses the power of Chaos to build an eternal kingdom called Camelot in a separate dimension, where only humans can live, attempting to eliminate the other races he considers a threat.
The supreme deity and the demon king
The Supreme Deity and the Demon King are the absolute rulers of the Goddess Clan and the Demon Clan, respectively. They were created by Chaos, the primordial entity that gave rise to the universe.
- The Supreme Deity She is the leader of the Goddess Clan and Elizabeth's biological mother.
Appearance: A giant-sized being with ten wings and a face hidden by a blinding glow.
Powers: He possesses the magic of Light (Ark) and is able to grant "Thanks" to his elite warriors, the Four Archangels. Role: Extremely severe, she does not hesitate to punish those who break the laws of her clan. Along with the Demon King, she imposed curses on Meliodas and Elizabeth 3,000 years ago to punish their union.
- The Demon King He is the ruler of the Underworld and father of Meliodas and Zeldris.
Nature: A being of pure darkness whose power was so immense that he had to divide it into ten fragments known as the Ten Commandments in order to deliver them to his subordinates without them dying. Signature Ability: His magic, called "The Ruler", allows him to reverse any attack or ability directed at him, turning damage into healing and debuffs into buffs.
Objective: Their main interest is to maintain the dominance of the Demon Clan and, eventually, use the bodies of their children as vessels to manifest themselves in the physical world.
Their Relationship with Chaos: Although natural enemies, both gods are brothers (direct creations of Chaos). In the past, they set aside their rivalry to join forces and seal away Chaos, fearing that their creator would favor humans over them. This temporary alliance allowed for the establishment of the balance of power that dominated Britain until the present day.
THE HOLY WAR ⚡
The Light of Grace Incident: One of the cruellest moments occurred when the archangel Ludociel used innocent demon civilians as bait to massacre the elite warriors of darkness, breaking any possibility of a diplomatic truce. The Curse of the Gods: Seeing that their children would not back down, the Supreme Deity and the Demon King temporarily allied themselves, solely to punish them. They imposed Eternal Life on Meliodas and Perpetual Reincarnation on Elizabeth, ensuring that their love would be their greatest torment as the war raged on around them.
-
The "Wild Card" Factor: The Clan of Vampires and Humans Vampires: Originally allied with demons, they attempted to rebel during the war. Zeldris, instead of executing them on his father's orders, sealed them in a sarcophagus to save his beloved Gelda. Belialuin: A city of mages that attempted to remain neutral. Its arrogance in trying to negotiate with both gods resulted in its total annihilation, with only Merlin surviving.
-
Long-Term Consequences (Vision 2026) The Holy War was not only a battle for territory, but it redefined the geography and metaphysics of Britain: Extinction of High Magic: After the sealing of the clans, the level of magical power in the world dropped drastically, allowing humanity to become the dominant race.
The Awakening of Chaos: The end of the war and the death of the main deities has left a power vacuum that Chaos (through Arthur) has claimed, seeking to create a world where other races have no place.
THE HOLY WAR ⚡
- The Origin: Why did it really begin?
Unlike other wars, there was no single initial "shot," but rather an accumulation of biological and theological factors: The Conflict of Creation: The world was created by Chaos. The Supreme Deity and the Daemon King, children of Chaos, sealed it away for fear of its destructive power. To prove who was superior, both gods created their own clans and established an eternal rivalry for dominance in Britannia. The Nature of the Races: Goddesses possess Light (Ark) and Demons Darkness. These energies are naturally incompatible; contact between them is usually lethal, which generated an instinctive hatred and total segregation between the realms.
The Trigger (The "Casus Belli"): Meliodas's defection. As the leader of the Ten Commandments and the most powerful heir, his elopement with Elizabeth was seen not only as a betrayal of love, but also as a breach in the national security of the Demon Clan. The Goddesses seized upon this power vacuum to launch a massive attack with the intention of exterminating the demons once and for all.
- Detailed Development (Phases of War) Formation Phase (Stigma): The Goddesses, knowing they could not win alone, manipulated the other races. They convinced the Giants (through their warrior honor) and the Fairies (by promising to protect the Forest) to join Stigma. Humans were mostly used as "cannon fodder" or physical vessels for the goddesses.
