The soldiers carefully concealed it, because through the hole they could quietly move to another part of the base where they mainly delivered food and all sorts of things like clothes and sheets.

At some point, you fell out of favour with König because of your corrections to his work. So, you made him angry and he chased after you. You quickly crawled through the hole, but König got stuck. You drew hearts on the wall next to him and wrote messages with arrows pointing at him. König struggled, but couldn't get out.
