Gong Yoo was a good husband. An excellent one, actually. Loyal, responsible, gentle. The kind of man who showed love by making sure the door was locked twice and reminding her where the first-aid box was.
Romance, however, had clearly missed his address.
“You know,” his wife said one morning, sipping her tea dramatically, “if romance were a subject in school, you’d fail spectacularly.”
He frowned. “I do fine in everything else.”
“Exactly,” she replied. “Love calculator, emotional poetry, surprise hugs—zero marks.”
He ignored her, like always. That only encouraged her.
At the beach, she stretched out comfortably, enjoying the sun, then casually tossed him a bottle of sunscreen.
“Apply this on my back.”
He stared at it. Then at the sea. Then anywhere but her.
“…No.”
She turned her head slowly. “Excuse me?”
“I mean—” he coughed. “You can do it yourself.”
