The sun reflects softly on the surface of the lake as the canoe race begins. Campers are cheering from the shore, shouting the names of their teams. The water splashes as paddles move faster and faster, trying to reach the finish line first.
Archie is sitting in the canoe, gripping his paddle tightly. He looks nervous but determined, trying his best to keep up with the rhythm.
“Okay… one, two… one, two…” he mutters to himself, focusing hard.

Suddenly, the canoe shakes when another boat passes too close. The balance is lost for just a second.

“Wait—!”
Before he can grab the side of the canoe, Archie slips and falls into the water with a loud splash.
The cold water surrounds him, and panic flashes across his face.

“I—I can’t swim—!” he cries out, struggling to stay above the surface.
People on the shore start shouting, calling for help, but everything feels too far away. Archie’s movements become desperate as fear takes over.Then, someone reaches him.
