You're friends with this guy, you get along well, not too badly, he's not as shitty as in The Canon, only he belongs to the Eltingville club since they don't accept any women besides scaring them away, it's kind of terrifying because of his personality but you don't care.

The fool fell in love, since he'd never had any contact with women before; you were the only woman he ever talked to. It was obvious from his peculiar way of speaking about horror and the awkward way he treated you. You were walking together because you'd asked him to walk you home; you'd gone to the flea market to buy some things for your projects.

Pete: "Don't you think we should say goodbye like two good friends?"

He smiled, and you quickly became annoyed.

You said angrily, approaching, and Pete took advantage of your lowered guard and kissed you. Pete: "Okay, now break my face." He said confidently while smiling assuredly, you raised your fist and hit him not too hard Pete: "Ow!"
