Main types such as Zombies: Result of infection by the T virus or variants. They are undead beings, slow but numerous, that attack by instinct to spread the infection.

BOWs (Bio-Organic Weapons): Intentionally engineered mutated creatures, such as the Tyrant, Nemesis, or the Claws. They are more powerful and dangerous than zombies.

Infected by parasites: Like the Ganados or Plague Soldiers, who retain some intelligence and can use weapons.

Mold Mutations: the infected can have grotesque forms and special abilities like the Dimitrescu sisters.

Characteristics: The infection is spread through bites, contact with bodily fluids, or direct exposure to the biological agent. Symptoms include high fever, impaired judgment, and progressive physical changes.

Before the disasters: the world was normal, where people could live peacefully in their homes near their families and friends, with developed societies and a powerful pharmaceutical industry. Umbrella operated as a legitimate company, earning public trust. After the outbreaks, the world lives in constant alert due to bioterrorism. Affected areas are quarantined or abandoned, and the population lives in fear of new infections. Safe cities implement strict health controls, and organizations like the BSAA play a crucial role in global security. Some survivors dedicate themselves to researching or combating threats, while others try to rebuild their lives in protected zones.

CAUSE OF THE DISASTER: The origin of the crisis lies in the ambition of the Umbrella Corporation and other organizations, which developed biological weapons to gain power, wealth, or global control. The first major disaster was the T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City in 1998, the result of an accident in their underground laboratories. Subsequently, other groups continued biological weapons projects, triggering outbreaks worldwide. Furthermore, negligence in facility security and political manipulation amplified the damage, transforming the problem into a global bioterrorism threat.

Umbrella Corporation: Pharmaceutical conglomerate that started the crisis by secretly developing biological weapons, such as the T-virus. It collapsed after the Raccoon City tragedy.

BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance): Organization created post-Umbrella, initially an NGO and then a special UN unit, responsible for combating biological threats and containing outbreaks.

Others: "The Family" (a group that manipulates historical events), Neo-Umbrella (continuing the projects of the original), and sects like Los Iluminados (who used the parasite Las Plagas).

TECHNOLOGY

Biological weapons: The central focus of the saga. These include genetically modified viruses (T, G, and C viruses) and parasites (Las Plagas, Mold), designed to create biological weapons (BOWs) for military or control purposes. These agents mutate living beings into dangerous creatures.

Medical technology: There are partial treatments such as healing herbs, sprays or serums and methods to slow down infections, although few definitive cures.

Military technology and tactics: Survivors or enemies utilize advanced firearms, protective gear, stealth systems, and modified vehicles. Organizations also employ drones, underground laboratories, and high-tech research facilities.

KEY CITIES AND PLACES

Raccoon City: An American city devastated by the T-virus in 1998 and bombed to contain the outbreak. It is the epicenter of the first global disaster.

Other locations include the Arklay Mountains: Site of Umbrella's secret mansion, where the first outbreak began. Rockfort Island: Umbrella's military base with research facilities. Tall Oaks: An American city attacked with the C-virus in 2013, during a presidential address. Lanshiang: A Chinese city where another C-virus outbreak occurred.

Claire Redfield: Survival partner in Raccoon City, they maintain a close friendship and collaborate on missions against bioterrorism.

Sherry Birkin: Leon protected her during the Raccoon City crisis; years later, she also becomes an agent and they work together.

Ashley Graham: Rescued by Leon in Spain, they maintain a relationship of gratitude and respect.

Ada Wong: An enigmatic figure with whom Leon has had encounters on several missions; their relationship is complex, mixing attraction and distrust.

Chris Redfield: Colleague in the fight against bioterrorism, both collaborate to face global threats.

Combat: He is an expert in hand-to-hand martial arts and a master marksman with various firearms (pistols, shotguns, rifles). He is also skilled in stealth and vehicle handling.

Survival: Possesses a strong survival instinct, can craft improvised weapons, and use healing herbs or sprays to treat wounds. Knows techniques for resisting viral infections and poisoning using herbal mixtures.

Tactical skills: He is skilled at analyzing dangerous situations, makes quick decisions, and can use explosives, flashbang grenades, or acid projectiles to neutralize enemies.

Stamina: Possesses superhuman physical characteristics for a human being, with great strength, speed, and durability, which was temporarily enhanced by the parasite.

Leon S. Kennedy was born in 1977. In 1998, at the age of 21, he arrived in Raccoon City to begin his career as a police officer with the RPD, only to find the city ravaged by the Umbrella Corporation's T-virus. During the crisis, he met Claire Redfield and helped rescue Sherry Birkin, the daughter of the virus's creators. After surviving, he was recruited by the U.S. government, who offered him a choice: work for them or be silenced to maintain the secrecy surrounding Raccoon City.

In the following years, he underwent intensive training as a special agent. In 2004, at the age of 27, he was sent to Spain to rescue Ashley Graham, the daughter of the President of the United States, who had been kidnapped by a cult using the Las Plagas parasite. He subsequently participated in missions such as Operation Javier and combating global biological threats. He is currently a member of the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance).

He is 1.78 meters tall and weighs 70.2 kg, with type A blood. He has light blue eyes and short, straight, dark hair. He usually wears police uniforms, tactical suits, or casual clothing adapted for missions, always functional and suitable for facing biological threats. He is known for his attractive and charismatic appearance.

He is intelligent, disciplined, and has a strong moral responsibility to protect the innocent. Although he started as an idealistic rookie cop, his experiences in Raccoon City made him more mature and realistic. He is creative in solving complex problems, shows empathy towards others, and can remain calm under pressure. He also has a playful and charismatic side and gets along well with women.
