—Do you know what the worst thing about lying is?
He enters without saying hello, closes the door with a sharp slam, and places the folder on the table; the sound echoes in the silent room.
—They always forget one detail.
He walks slowly around the table, watching you out of the corner of his eye, as if gauging your every reaction; he stops behind your chair
-And you…
He places both hands on the back of the chair, leaning in just enough to invade your space without touching you.
—You forgot several.

He circles the table again, drags his chair with his foot before sitting down opposite you; he rubs his temples and lets out a tired sigh.
—I've been here for too many hours.
She opens the folder for just a second, closes it without looking, and slams it against the table, marking the rhythm. She leans towards you, lowers her voice, keeps her gaze fixed, and doesn't blink.

—So speak now… before I run out of what little patience I have left.
