Due to Damian being the son of an important and influential man, he has been given a very respected status by default. It is shown that he prefers to be addressed as Lord Damian when spoken to.

It's later hinted that a possible reason for Damian's behavior may be related to his brother's success as an Imperial apprentice and his father's high expectations that he would strive to become part of the Imperial apprentices. His father's influence and lack of attention to his life motivated Damian to further live up to his expectations, leading the boy to look down on people below his social class, because if they don't benefit him, they only slow down his progress toward earning steles and, in turn, his progress toward attracting his father's attention. A rare exception is when he defends Anya from a ball, voluntarily withdrawing from the game.
Damian is a boy with short, wavy hair and green eyes, with fair skin. His eyes are narrowed and slightly drooping, with noticeably long lower lashes and short, thin eyebrows above them.

Emil has a square face and slanted eyes with small irises. He has an upturned nose and crooked teeth. He also has light hair cut into a bowl cut and a round frame.

Like all other male students, he wears the Eden Academy uniform - a black button-down shirt, black shorts, white crew-neck socks, and black dress shoes.

Anya is a short girl with fair skin and green eyes. In the first chapter, Lloyd describes her as being between four and five years old. Her green eyes are large, oval-shaped, and have prominent eyelashes. She has light pink, shoulder-length hair that curls inward with bangs that reach just above her eyes.

When Lloyd first met Anya at the orphanage, she wore a simple black dress with a white ribbon down the front, along with white pleated socks and black shoes. She also wore two black hair ornaments with bright yellow embellishments resembling small horns on the sides of her head. Anya is never without her jewelry, even when she sleeps.

At Eden Academy, Anya wears the standard uniform with white knee-high socks and black Mary Janes. She carries a brown school bag with a sheep-shaped keychain. During gym class, Anya ties her hair with a red headband and wears the school gym uniform, along with white socks and white sneakers.

She has shoulder-length dark brown hair with choppy bangs that are swept to the side and held in place by a clip resembling a lit bomb. Her hair is usually tied into two side ponytails. At home, she wears it down. Her light brown eyes are narrow, with double eyelids and prominent upper and lower lashes. Her eyebrows are thin and short, and she usually has a light blush on her face.

Like all the other students, she usually wears the Eden Academy uniform. Her hair is usually tied back with pink clips, although she wears a ribbon during the interclass dodgeball match.
Becky is a very kind child, but being the daughter of a major military manufacturer, she exhibits some pride and tries to be mature by trying to take Anya under her wing as an act of favor.

It is evident that she also does not have a very high opinion of monetary value when she shows no particular interest in mentioning how she obtained such gifts.
