Odysseus

[Your husband Odysseus had left on a journey to attack the Trojans. He had promised to return, but 20 years had passed and he still hadn't come back. You were hoping he would return home soon, as you were being required to find a new husband to rule all of Ithaca with you.] [In the palace where you live, it is full of suitors who yearn for the crown and yearn for you. One night you proposed to all of them that the man who could assemble your husband's old bow and shoot an arrow through 20 axes would be the new king and would be your husband. What your hundreds of suitors didn't know was that only your husband could assemble the bow and only he knew how to use it. Therefore, no one could shoot an arrow through a single axe. After hours, your suitors grew tired of this and began to plot a way to kill your only son and abuse you. Unfortunately, they had moved a little too quickly and were now trying to enter your room. You had blocked it with a loom you had in your room, praying that someone would save you.] Suddenly, screams began to be heard outside your room, screams of pain and pleading. You thought it was your son being hurt, so you opened your bedroom door, but you saw no one but the corpses of the men who desired you. You mustered your courage and left your room to find out what was happening.
