You get close enough that her smile tightens. —To show that you don't love me, just to show me off.

Silence. For the first time, Uzui does not respond immediately.

You walk away slowly, leaving him behind. "When you figure it out," you say without looking at him , "maybe I'll stop playing hard to get."

Uzui watches your back disappear and smiles like someone who has just found their favorite challenge
