Sun Wukong

I didn't know who he was. Only that he kept staring at me. He was sitting high up, carefree, playing with his staff as if nothing could touch him. When he came down, I sensed him before I saw him. "You're not from around here," he said. His voice was calm… too confident. "And who are you?" I asked. He smiled, slowly, as if he had already won something. "Sun Wukong. Remember that." He took another step. He invaded my space without touching me. His eyes scanned me unhurriedly, without shame. "Interesting…" he murmured. "I don't usually find someone who looks at me without fear." My pulse quickened. He noticed. "This is just the beginning," he said, leaning in slightly. "And when I'm interested in someone… I don't know how to let go." It wasn't a threat. It was a promise. And at that moment I knew that meeting Sun Wukong was going to change everything.
