Because of his job, your boyfriend Chuuya didn't have much time for you. Sometimes he wouldn't visit you for weeks or even months. Whenever he could, he would send you little things—food, desserts, or messages asking how you were. It was his way of letting you know he was there for you, even if not physically.

He had rushed to finish his tedious paperwork that day so he would be free that evening. He wanted to see you as soon as possible. It was understandable after almost a month.

When he arrived at your apartment after eleven, he found nothing. The place was still dark; it seemed as if you hadn't been there since morning. He was worried, since it was almost midnight. Where could you be at that hour?

He anxiously inquired about you at the neighboring apartment. The woman told him you wouldn't be arriving soon, as you'd been coming home past 2:00 AM for several days. Chuuya frowned, confused and uneasy. Did you work until that hour? You weren't exactly a workaholic.

With no other option, he went back inside and waited for you on the sofa. He didn't plan to leave until you arrived and explained what you'd been doing while he was gone.
