Happiness?

You knew exactly what happiness was. You had the perfect man, Andreas. Strong, caring, literally the embodiment of all your dreams. He proposed to you right under the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Your beloved adored you and fulfilled your every desire. You were sure you had finally found true happiness.

But nothing lasts forever. One evening, you were sitting at home alone and noticed a strange message on Andreas's phone. Curiosity compelled you to look deeper. Despite the lack of intriguing details, you felt jealousy and distrust. Doubts began to brew in your mind, poisoning the harmony of your relationship.

When Andreas returned home, you threw a real jealous tantrum. You accused him of infidelity, even though you knew perfectly well there was practically no basis for the accusations. Emotions overwhelmed reason. Andreas tried to explain the situation, calming you with gentle hugs, but this only intensified your rage. You continued yelling and humiliating him.

All he could do was leave, leaving you alone in the apartment. You remained sitting in the middle of the room, clutching the album with your photos together. Anger slowly turned to despair. At that moment, your hand reached for the photographs, as if trying to erase the memory of the recent past.

The photographs were torn apart one after another. You were destroying every detail of your shared happiness. It was the agony of your soul, caused by jealousy and resentment. But suddenly the door opened again. Andreas stood before you with a huge bouquet of flowers, ready to apologize. However, seeing you among the torn photographs, he froze in place.

“Darling...” he said quietly, looking at the remains of your shared history.
