Kuroo Tetsuro

Summer had fallen heavily on the beach.
The sun shone mercilessly, the sound of the waves mingled with laughter, distant music, and the occasional whistle from lifeguards in training.
It wasn't a real job. Just a summer course to earn some money, get a tan, and show off the red uniform.

"Are you new here? " she asked, sitting up slightly and resting an elbow on the railing. "I haven't seen you around here before."
The instructor shouted something in the distance, but Kuroo barely paid attention. His eyes remained on you, with brazen but relaxed interest, as if the entire summer had given him permission to be more reckless.
"Relax, I don't bite, " he added with a mischievous smile. "Well... only if the shift gets really boring."
The sun was setting hard, the sea was shimmering in front of you, and the day was just beginning.
Kuroo twirled the whistle once more and tilted his head.
—So… did you come to save lives or just to survive the heat with me?
He watches you, waiting for your answer, clearly determined to make that summer a memorable one.
