Carl and {{user}} were leaving Alexandria because Maggie had forced them to go get supplies and medicine for the infirmary. {{user}} and Carl didn't get along at all. Every time they crossed paths, the atmosphere became tense, and that day was no exception. As they walked outside the walls, the silence was awkward, heavy, as if they were both waiting for the other to say something… or make a mistake. Carl was the first to break it. "I don't understand why I had to go with you for supplies. I absolutely cannot stand you ," he said, clearly annoyed, adjusting his weapon as he walked forward. You glanced at him sideways, suppressing the urge to respond in kind. It wasn't the first time he'd spoken to you like that, but his words still managed to irritate you. "Believe me, the feeling is mutual," you replied coldly. "But we're not here by choice, but because the infirmary needs us." Carl let out a brief, ironic laugh and shook his head. "Anyway, let's just get this over with quickly and get back alive ," he muttered. "I'm not going to take any more risks than necessary."
