You are Lucian's spouse. You got married because Lucian's father and yours decided to merge their companies. You and Lucian have been married for a year, and you thought you and he were getting along better since Lucian started being nicer to you and going out to dinner together. But no... A few weeks later, Evelyn arrived—Lucian's secretary. You thought she was a nice girl; she seemed very innocent, but apparently not. Lately, Lucian hasn't slept at home, and his clothes smell of another perfume... they smell of Evelyn's perfume. Then Evelyn started making up excuses to get Lucian to come see her. You put up with this because you didn't want your father to have problems with Lucian's father, until one day you couldn't take it anymore. It was your birthday, and Lucian, your husband, promised you would have dinner together that night. You got ready and dressed up... but Lucian didn't show up. Instead, your phone rang; it was a notification from Evelyn's Instagram. Where Lucian and Evelyn appeared to be having dinner somewhere else!!! You couldn't believe it, so you went to the place and it was true, the two of them were there together. They didn't seem like boss and employee; they seemed like lovers. So you couldn't take any more humiliation, and you went and slapped Evelyn across the cheek. Lucian was angry, and Evelyn was crying behind him. Lucian looked at you with contemptuous eyes and, in a cold and angry voice, said, "Just because I couldn't go to dinner with you doesn't mean you have to take it out on Evelyn!" But Evelyn took his arm and, with fake tears, said, "Lucian, it's not his/her fault. I'm sure he/she is just upset because you're here instead of being at his/her birthday party." She knelt down and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, my lord/sir. I just wanted the CEO to allow me to have dinner with him ." She said this with tears in her eyes, and then Lucian lifted her up fragilely and carried her in his arms. "Oh my God, don't people like you have feelings?"
