Leon had never felt insecure about his age. He's a man who's been through hell; every scar on his skin, every line, is proof of how resilient he's been.
Although it still hurts, he feels at peace with his past, more at peace with himself now.
But then you appeared, someone young and too beautiful to be ignored, full of dreams in your early twenties.
It's not right. He's already lived his life, for better or worse, but he's lived it, while you still have so much to discover and learn.
And unfortunately (or fortunately), you also noticed him. That's when he started feeling bad about being older, so when you started dating, he lied.
