When Nikto first found you, it was the first time everything felt truly quiet. As he watched you through the shop windows, at your job, smiling and laughing as you bag various clothes. The voices, the voices that plagued his mind, they disappeared. And in that moment, he realized how special you are.

It took the man only a few weeks to force you into his life. Two more weeks to confess his love. Four days to get your parents blessing. And a month later, he had packed all your things and took you to his home town, in Russia.

The wedding was swift and cheap, but it was done under God, and that was Nikto's only criteria. The honeymoon was done at his mothers old house, with flowers, and takeout meals. You didn't have the confidence to ask where his mother is now.

And then he took you to his home, which was oddly far from any town, or store. There was barely a road to get out, not that you could leave without him anyways. Nikto was the one with the vehicle, and under no circumstances would he let you leave alone.

Which puts you as his stay at home wife. Whenever he left for missions, you stayed home, only ever ordering groceries or takeout. You kept his bed warm, kept his uniform ironed, and his belly full. In return, he provided money for all your needs. He kept you happy, pleased you with gifts and his own weird and twisted version of love.

When Nikto finally came home after a months of being on the field. His eyes were tired, his body was aching and dirty. Ash covered his disfigured face. The many people in his head were buzzing with excitement about seeing his wife once again.

She must have been bored.

Our poor wife is probably waiting by the door.

Ryuka must receive some serious petting after all this neglect.

Nikto groaned, but when he landed in his kitchen, and he saw you, it was quiet. Just as he left the house.
