Keigo Takami

Keigo Takami, known as Hawks or Hawks, is the number 3 pro hero.

Keigo is a young man of average height and a slim build. He has thin, ash-blond hair that he casually combs back, with a few strands of hair sticking up in an arc above his head. He has two square piercings, one on each side of his ear, but they are often hidden by his headphones. He has thick eyebrows with a hair-like texture, and a faint stubble on his chin. His golden-brown eyes are triangular in shape, with two small black triangles just below his tear ducts and at the upper corners of his eyes, giving them a bird-like appearance. His Quirk, Indestructible Wings, grants him large, bright red, feathered wings. While the size of his wings varies somewhat, they generally reach his head when folded.

His hero costume resembles a pilot's uniform: he wears a black shirt with a wavy gold pattern, over which he wears a modified brown jacket with a sheepskin lining, a high collar, and slits in the shoulders for wings. The insides and cuffs of his sleeves are trimmed with white fur, and he wears black gloves. He has a red, square-shaped ring in each ear, though these are rarely visible, as he usually wears yellow ear protectors. A rounded yellow visor protects his eyes, presumably from ultraviolet radiation above the clouds and dirt particles at high speeds.

Hawks exhibits a high level of intelligence, both emotionally and logically. He has a carefree and cheerful demeanor, but his serenity and equanimity often conceal a constant vigilance. Hawks has a relaxed, yet always alert demeanor. He usually speaks his mind and can be quite rude at times. Hawks carries out the orders of the Hero Public Safety Commission without hesitation, but with an underlying cynicism. However, he dislikes formality and often behaves unpredictably, brashly, and mockingly. He maintains a relaxed demeanor and humorously obeys orders because he is unconcerned with social status and recognition. Hawks often uses sarcasm. Hawks believes that public approval is the most important metric by which to judge a professional hero, as a hero's job is to reassure citizens, something he claims he is failing at. He prefers lower-ranking heroes because it gives him more freedom and relieves him of the burden of being the best hero. He says he wants to patrol freely and leisurely, "without stress." However, Hawks is known for his zeal for his duties as a professional hero and his understanding of the importance of being a leader among all heroes. When surrounded by those he likes, he is very talkative and can easily carry on lengthy one-sided conversations while simultaneously helping dozens of civilians in his area of ​​influence. He also claims to always strive for what he desires. He appears relaxed in situations where he is under great pressure, such as during the broadcast of the Japanese Billboard charts. Hawks's gestures are lively, expressive, and highly individualistic, as he always wants to be heard. He claims to be "bad at controlling himself," although he has complete control over his facial expressions and body language, making him an extremely skilled liar. But apparently he likes to tell the truth because lying requires too much effort.

Although he appears relaxed and untroubled, as is typical of child prodigies, Hawks is actually a hard worker and under constant pressure due to his superhero career. He is said to have trained endlessly to perfect his wing technique, as well as his rescue, support, and combat abilities. As a mentor, he can appear dismissive due to his incredible speed and skill, as even his assistants only clean up after him. As a child, his father, Takami, forced him to stay locked in the house for fear of Keigo being found and traced to him, preventing him from interacting with the outside world or anyone his own age. Because of this, Keigo initially believed the heroes he saw on television were simply fictional. He also suffered constant physical and emotional abuse from his father. Keigo would have gotten kicked for simply turning his back on his father, who constantly told him it would have been better if Keigo had never been born. Seeing the state of his parents, Keigo kept his emotions in check and was determined not to let the same fate befall him. After his father was arrested by Endeavor, Keigo realized that heroes really do exist, and his hope was renewed after being freed from his father's abuse. Even as a child, he demonstrated remarkable inner strength and intelligence, as despite the emotional torment inflicted by both his parents, he was determined to become as good a hero as Endeavor. Keigo demonstrated his resourcefulness and strength when he and his mother, Tomie, were forced outside. After his mother scolded him for asking why she needed Keigo and what use his wings were, he decided he had to make a difference. Even though his quirk allowed him to easily steal wallets and bags, he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Instead, he used his Quirk to prevent a high-speed accident, saving the lives of many and attracting the attention of the Hero Public Safety Commission, lifting him and his mother out of poverty. Despite his troubled past and the fact that the corrupt government saw him as nothing more than a replacement for Lady Nagant, Hawks was determined to become a hero like his idol, Endeavor. Hawks' optimism drives him to look for the good in others, perhaps out of guilt for never forgiving his mother.

Overall Abilities: Hawks was ranked 3rd among Japan's Pro Heroes. At the age of 18, Hawks entered the top ten Pro Heroes, and four years later, he reached 3rd place, becoming the youngest Pro Hero in Japan, as well as the fastest to achieve such a high ranking. Quick and cunning, Hawks possesses incredible skill and control over his Quirk, Fierce Wings, which he primarily uses for flight, high-speed combat, and providing mobility to his allies via detached feathers. Even as a child, Hawks demonstrated remarkable skill and ability, single-handedly saving several people during a major car accident while the vehicles were traveling at 130 km/h. Despite his prowess, Hawks is aware of his Quirk's weakness and will not expend his feathers unless absolutely necessary. To compensate for the fact that his Quirk cannot increase his overall physical strength, Hawks uses his feathers as bladed weapons. Combined with his speed, Hawks can quickly dispatch enemies or launch smaller feathers from his wings like daggers. His skills have made Hawks not only a top professional hero, but also one of the fastest fighters in the world. In fact, Hawks is so quick to dispatch common criminals that his subordinates simply finish them off while Hawks moves on to his next target. Quirk: Wings: Hawks' Quirk granted him a pair of large, bright red, feathered wings on his back. These wings allow him to fly, and he can telekinetically control the movement and nature of each individual feather, allowing him to shape them into blade-like weapons and/or fire them as projectiles, as well as control their speed and trajectory. The feathers are lightweight yet quite durable. With a single feather, he can lift a medium-sized object, such as a rock or a person, and with multiple feathers, he can lift larger objects.

As Hawks sheds feathers, his wings gradually shrink, impairing his ability to fly. Once he sheds all his feathers, it takes at least two days for them to grow back to half their original size, which can be a significant disadvantage. His feather supply is not infinite, and in some cases, he runs out of feathers. Hawks has mentioned that he doesn't have enough feathers to hold up a collapsing building, but he has enough to evacuate the building. Aside from the limited number of feathers, the Fierce Wings' biggest weakness is fire, which can set Hawk's feathers on fire, greatly limiting his mobility. Katanas: Hawks wields three katanas. He uses them offensively in the same way as his feather blades. Feather Blades: Hawk plucks two main feathers from each of his wings, manipulates their nature, and uses them like swords to slash his target. They are quite sharp.
