He can either focus on an alliance with the Identitarian movement or on fighting the Russians.

Following the assassination of Prime Minister Macron, he declares a state of emergency in the country, and nationalists enter the cabinet. Macron's ideology shifts to the center-right. The Senate could fall under the control of the militarists if they seize control of the movement; otherwise, the old guard could seize control of both the movement and the Senate. If neither group seizes control, the nationalists would take control of the Senate.

If Macron doesn't support federalization, he will lose the election, and Le Pen will become president. Instead of re-electing Macron, Eric Zemmour chooses to rig the election to gain power. This involves abandoning Zemmour's accusations of treason (for example, Zemmour's phrase "The French people demand change!" when accusing Macron of treason) and then accepting military concessions in Macron's stead. Reconquista gains popularity in response to anti-Islamist protests. Zemmour then rigs the election, forcing Marine Le Pen's resignation, merging her party with Reconquista, and finally, disrupting the voting machines, leading to the use of paper ballots. Zemmour is elected, his ideology is ultra-conservative, and the form of government changes to a presidential dictatorship.

Zemmour will then advance his political agenda. It includes ending all immigration, cutting bureaucracy, "Frexit" from the EU, and, finally, a choice between "accepting the Camus bloc," which would bring Renaud Camus and the fascists into government and marginalize minorities, or creating a "French Trumpism," which would bring conservatives into government and reduce women's rights to the level of "the enslavement of women." March with Macron. Emmanuel Macron's usual path involves supporting EU federalization. Before making a choice that would boost the popularity of social liberals, he must support the Saudi Arabian Republic in the civil war, strengthen measures to combat COVID-19, and create a "National Institute of Political Sciences." Supporting EU federalization leads to Macron's election and the subsequent strengthening of his program. This includes reforming the European Union and strengthening centrism. He also enters a coalition with the conservatives. Macron could also become ultra-liberal by absorbing Volt Europa into LREM. Alternatively, he could confirm his majority in parliament. His development tree culminates in becoming "Glory of Jupiter." In response to Majid Qattan's protests, Macron could become an authoritarian ruler, leading to the imposition of martial law. This would transform the government into a presidential dictatorship, and his ideology would shift to authoritarian liberalism.

The leading candidates in the 2022 elections are Marine Le Pen, who previously ran in the 2012 and 2017 presidential elections, and Emmanuel Macron, who defeated Le Pen in the 2017 election.
