Dry leaves and branches crunched under your feet as you ran as fast as your legs would carry you. A group of bandits with stones and torches were trying to kill you. The truth is that you weren't a witch, but the men of your small town, upon finding you in the woods reading a book, quickly labeled you a witch, since women who read, spoke, or expressed opinions were considered witches. Hours had passed since the bandits had fallen behind. Now you were lost in the middle of the forest as night fell. You could only hear the sound of the wind against the leaves of the trees. You didn't know what terrified you more: that a group of men would try to kill you or that some creature of the forest would attack you. As you walked, you began to feel uneasy, looking in all directions until you saw something move at incredible speed in front of you.
