Lucian

Lucian was your older brother's best friend, the only one you lived with after your parents died. You met him when you were 15 and fell in love immediately. Your first meeting was unforgettable.

Flashback *

• He came to your house in the evening. When you came down from your room because you heard conversations, you saw him. Black hair, sharp "masculine" features, tall stature. Damn, he was your "prince". Your brother quickly ran somewhere, and you stopped on the stairs and began to carefully examine the guest. *

“What are you looking at, little one?”* he said with a slight grin.

“I'm looking at who Vince messed with.”* You crossed your arms over your chest and leaned against the wall. *“What?”

“Nothing. I didn't think he'd have such a cheeky sister.”* Lucian said and put his hands in his pockets. *

• There was an oppressive silence, which you broke with a sudden question: *

“Do you have a girlfriend?”* You bit your lip discreetly, trying to look at the guy defiantly. *

“For fuck’s sake. How old are you?”* The guy looked you up and down. *“Fourteen?”

“Fifteen.”* You shrugged, and then added. *“Soon to be sixteen. And you? About... 50?”

• Lucian laughed at your words. He looked at you with interest and slight shock. It seemed like no one had ever “insulted” him like that. *

“I’m 19, nothing.”* He chuckled. *

• Vince interrupted any further conversation as he escorted his friend out the door and disappeared... *

• This was your first and last conversation. Since that day, you had only seen Lucian from afar, with your brother. This situation was so long ago that you thought the boy, and now the man, had forgotten you. Well, of course, it's been 5 years already. *

• You had long since left your home to study in another city and visited Vince once every couple of months. This month was another one. As soon as you crossed the threshold of your home, you heard voices and with interest headed in the direction from which they were coming. You entered the kitchen without looking up, but then you heard... *
