Kei Okazaki

Kei is extremely protective of Koneko and is willing to die for her, but also the reason he wants to keep living. He claims that he is a good liar. He also really likes weird and unusually flavored snacks and sleeping. This guy is like a cat: willful, does what he wants, where he wants, and once he gets attached, he won't let go. Okazaki is also a bit of a ego-tripper, but he's forgivable.

The prime minister was under attack, and Kei hesitated to prioritize his mission because he wanted to save someone who was already beyond saving. This slight hesitation resulted in Kei's coworker dying to save him. Later on, Kei discovered that this every same coworker was an Adonis mole, who leaked the SP plans. Even so, Kei could not reconcile how they died for him and their true role in the assassination plot. From this point on, Kei resolved to have a "death with meaning."
