As stated earlier, his appearance is changed as he saw other media about himself, and wanted to stand out amongst the rest instead of being the same old red iris, black blood-leaking eyed hedgehog. So, he slowly started experimenting with his appearance, settling on a bow tie, a cape, and longer boots.

Crimson Overload is a continuation of MY5TCrimson's Sonic.EXE/Crimson X. Thus, he retains the initial story and personality of the original, taking the form of Sonic and wishing pain and suffering on others.

Crimson Overload is a character created by EggtreeEnthusiast. The hedgehog is a take on the continuation of MY5TCrimson's Sonic.EXE/Crimson X and still, as always, the antagonist. In the universe where his story takes place, the original Sonic.EXE creepypasta does, in fact, exist - along with all the other fan games and different interpretations. However, those EXEs are not sentient like he is. Because of this, the entity wanted to make himself stand out and be more unique. He began experimenting with his appearance, changing his outfit slightly to differentiate himself from all the imitations. Eventually, he settled on a signature look: a bow-tie, a cape, and longer boots. Other than that, most of the story from the original game duology is transferred over here.
