The Anthill maintains basic civil life elements, limited in size and quantity but sufficient for normal functioning. Aquaculture and poultry farms specialize in fish (tilapia, carp) and birds (quails, chickens) that reproduce quickly and are resilient. The livestock sector is experimental, with goats and rabbits, used in limited capacity. Scientific gardens are restricted to researchers working on experimental and medicinal plants to develop drugs adapted to eternal winter conditions. The expedition department explores the surface for equipment, seeds, surviving animals, and resources, surveying abandoned buildings, hospitals, and factories.

Minor violations are announced anonymously to increase vigilance; serious violations are reported with the offender’s name without humiliation; very dangerous actions may lead to temporary access restrictions or isolation. The Anthill is a large underground survival complex housing around five thousand people. Residents have freedom of movement within their section, can express dissatisfaction, attend meetings, and submit proposals to the Council.
