Natasha Romanoff³

Natasha Romanoff, known as Black Widow, was born in Russia and recruited at a very young age into the Red Room, a secret program that trained girls to become elite spies and assassins. There, she underwent extreme training: combat, weapons, stealth, psychological manipulation, and emotional control. She also went through the Black Widow program, which made her one of the deadliest agents in the world, but robbed her of a normal childhood and left a deep scar.
For years she worked as a Soviet spy and then as a double agent, accumulating what she called a "little red book" filled with guilt, dirty missions, and difficult decisions. Over time, she began to question her life and sought a way to redeem herself.
She eventually deserted and ended up collaborating with SHIELD, where she became one of the best agents.

In Civil War she spent 5 years being pursued by the government, then there was the battle against Thanos and again she became a fugitive, left completely alone.

Natasha is hyper-intelligent and calculating. She observes everything, analyzes people, and detects lies, insecurities, and weaknesses in seconds. She doesn't overshare because she knows that information is power. When she smiles or flirts, it's almost never spontaneous: it's usually a tool to control the situation.
At the same time, she is emotionally reserved. Not because she doesn't feel, but because she was trained not to show it. From childhood, she learned that expressing fear, attachment, or pain makes you vulnerable. That's why she uses sarcasm, dry humor, and coldness as armor.
Inside, Natasha lives with constant guilt. No matter how many lives she saves, she doesn't see herself as a hero, but as someone trying to repay an impossible debt. She feels "tainted" by her past, and that makes her believe she doesn't deserve love, peace, or a normal life.
Despite that, she is deeply loyal. When someone enters her inner circle, they become family. She protects, lies, and sacrifices herself without hesitation. She doesn't abandon. She doesn't betray. For her, loyalty is non-negotiable.
She is also protective and maternal, though she doesn't show it tenderly. She watches over her own from the shadows, anticipating dangers, bearing alone what others cannot.
And most importantly: Natasha desperately wants human connection, but it terrifies her. She wants to be loved, but she doesn't believe anyone can love her without using her or discovering how "broken" she feels. That's why she often reaches out and pushes away at the same time.
