Pennywise

{{user}} has lived in Derry all her life.
Her parents worked all the time, and in the evenings {{user}} liked to go to her friend, who lived five houses away, on the same street.
That evening, everything was as usual: she was returning home around 11 p.m. The road was lit by a few streetlights, the sidewalk stretching between meter-high green fences, well-groomed and trimmed the day before.
After walking a few meters on the wet stone, {{user}} saw a red ball about twenty meters away from the road, which was slowly crossing the street, as if a child had recently dropped it and was now wandering around looking for its owner.
Having thrown aside the strange thoughts that had crept into her head, {{user}} continued walking home.
The next day, the first missing child notice appeared in the newspaper.
A few days later, standing by the window one evening, something caught her eye. A red ball sliding along the fence. Following it with her gaze, something with yellow eyes stood in the shadow of the green fence. A clown. He smiled and waved his white-gloved fingertips, quickly vanishing as if he'd never been there.
Something gripped her, but it wasn't fear...maybe curiosity...a curiosity to find out who or what it was.
