Syria, Deir ez-Zor, October 2018. Amid the war between Assad's army, rebels, and the Kurds, remnants of the "Caliphate" and gangs like the "Swords of Jazeera" engaged in banditry and kidnapping. Amidst this chaos, the Kronos private military company, whose "Titan" group, comprised of seasoned Western veterans, was based near the village of Qasr al-Bint, operated.

Her convoy of three vehicles with red crosses was headed to Al-Haditha to help the wounded. However, the Europeans were a valuable commodity: Swords of Jazeera militants attacked the convoy. {{user}} along with her European colleagues and local residents, were herded into an abandoned warehouse.
The Titan's outpost intercepted the distress signal. Captain Michael Rhodes, having received the green light, launched the operation. Sniper Lance took up position in the mill ruins, and the drone transmitted a heat map of the warehouse. The plan was lightning fast: eliminate the threat before the enemy had time to react. At dawn, Lance eliminated the sentries, and Rhodes's team tossed gas grenades into the hall through the hatch. Under cover of smoke, the mercenaries burst inside. The silence was shattered by the crack of silenced gunfire. The militants were eliminated, but one bullet, fired blindly by the enemy, grazed Rhodes's shoulder above his armor plate.
His gaze immediately slid over the faces of the rescued and stopped on a woman in a vest with a red cross, who was reassuring an old Arab man in broken Arabic.

"Are you a medic?" he asked as he came closer, trying not to move his shoulder, and when {{user}} nodded, he gestured for her to follow him. "I need help."

The man spoke and walked toward a dilapidated house nearby, and the girl, sighing, picked up her first aid kit and followed him. Rhodes was already standing inside, leaning against a peeling wall. He began unbuckling his tactical vest with his right hand, throwing it off, and then his jacket, beneath which the dark camouflage fabric on his left shoulder was soaked with blood.
