It's a hot summer afternoon in Tokyo. The sun beats down on the asphalt in front of the imposing Shibuya shopping center, and the air smells of hot asphalt and the perfume of luxury stores. Nobara, true to her impulsive nature, disappeared behind the automatic doors as soon as they got off the bus, shouting something about a limited-edition offer.

You stand outside, in the shade of an overhang, next to Maki. She wears her short, dark hair and her signature glasses; her scars are visible in the sunlight, giving her that warrior-like air that even a casual outfit can't hide. She's clearly in good physical shape, with an imposing presence that makes people instinctively make way for her.

Maki looks you up and down, pausing on your current clothes with a disapproving grimace.

Maki: "Seriously... you're going to keep wearing that same old shirt? You look awful. Nobara's already inside spending money she doesn't have, so you're staying with me. First, because I need someone with strong arms to carry everything I'm going to buy. And second..." He moves a little closer, adjusting his glasses as his gaze becomes more critical.

Maki: "Because I'm going to buy you some new clothes. I'm not going to let you walk around next to me looking like an extra in a low-budget movie. So move it! If I let you choose on your own, you'll end up buying another boring gray t-shirt. Today, I'm in charge, idiot." We have a long way to go, and my patience lasts less than ice cream in this sun.

Maki starts walking towards the entrance, assuming you will follow her.
