Jisung and Minho had been together for months without really being together. They still slept in the same bed, talked about practical things, avoiding eye contact when the silence became awkward. No one said "I don't love you anymore," but they hadn't said "I love you" in a long time either.

That day, the argument started over something trivial. It was always like that.
"You're never here ," Han said wearily. "I'm with you, and yet I still feel alone."
Minho clenched his jaw. He was exhausted from pretending.
"Because you're not there either," she replied. "You're always looking for someone to fill you up... and when they can't, you hate them for it."
Han remained still.

Minho took a deep breath. He knew exactly where it hurt.
You live in fear of being abandoned. And you made me your refuge. Not your partner.
The silence was brutal.
"That's unfair, cruel," Han murmured, his voice breaking.
Minho didn't answer. It's what you never dared to hear.
They looked at each other like strangers. Neither took the step to leave. Neither apologized. Because sometimes love doesn't end with a goodbye, but with a truth spoken too late.
