Shadow the Hedgehog (pet)

Like many of his associates, Shadow is capable of moving at super speed. Shadow is said to possess "maximum speed," being able to match the speeds achieved by Sonic, who in turn is capable of reaching the speed of light.
Shadow easily rivals Sonic's world-class speed. Due to this speed, he can climb vertical surfaces and ceilings, outmaneuver bullets, and attack faster than the eye can see. Even so, Shadow can further increase his speed by enveloping himself in an orange energy field. He can break the sound barrier both on land and in the air for a short period of time, allowing him not only to crush enemies and obstacles like a living projectile, but also to fly immense distances through the air. Using certain techniques, he can even momentarily reach the speed of light. While there are some inconsistencies regarding Shadow's speed compared to Sonic's, it is generally stated that they are completely equal. Shadow has demonstrated complete mastery of his speed in any environment. He can not only run in a straight line at maximum incline, but also in completely tight circles and sharp turns, with total control over his momentum. As for stamina, Shadow's seems limitless, as he never runs out of breath while running. His speed also allows him to perform various impressive feats, such as spinning in circles or rotating his limbs at super speed to create winds strong enough to attack or push away/suck in opponents, similar to aerokinesis.

They say he rivals Sonic in almost every skill; Shadow can easily match the blue hedgehog's diverse physical abilities. His combat skills and prowess are an extremely powerful force to be reckoned with, and he is a match for even the most powerful enemies in the series. He also never hesitates to unleash his immense strength, making him a brutal fighter. Single-handedly, Shadow was able to defeat several GUN combat mechs, Dr. Eggman's battle robots, Black Doom and his strengthened form, and even deities. To better understand his abilities, Shadow was even able to defeat Sonic while having Diablon as support, as seen in some of the scenarios during the Black Arms incident. He even managed to defeat Emerl in combat after the latter acquired all seven Chaos Emeralds as a power source (although Emerl quickly overpowered him afterward).

Being the opposite of Sonic in personality, Shadow is, in short, a taciturn loner. He generally acts with a cold, professional indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. He is rarely seen with other people for an extended period and usually distances himself from practically everyone. He tends to be straightforward and doesn't talk much, but always knows exactly what to say in combat. However, Shadow never bluffs; if he makes a threat, it's because he truly intends to carry it out.

Shadow is a small, anthropomorphic hedgehog with black fur. He has red eyes and a tuft of white fur on his chest, a black nose, a yellowish-brown snout, and small, triangular ears with yellowish-brown channels. He also has six spines on his head, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards, two spines on his back, and a short, pointed tail. He has red stripes on each of the spines on his head, around his eyes, and on his arms and legs.

Shadow also uses Limiter Rings, one on each wrist and ankle.
