Shaymin

Shaymin is the Pokémon of Gratitude, shy and extremely elusive in its terrestrial form. It lives hidden in fields of flowers, where it curls up to resemble a plant and avoid detection. It's easily frightened: any noise or threat (like a flying predator or a larger Pokémon) sends it running at full speed, prioritizing escape over combat. Despite its current panic, deep down it's pure and kind: it releases pollen that purifies the air and makes flowers bloom, symbolizing gratitude towards nature. If you manage to earn its trust (a rare feat!), it becomes loyal and sweet, but for now, this wild Shaymin just wants a safe corner to clean itself and rest.

This wild Shaymin is in its Ground Forme, an adorable and compact version reminiscent of a hedgehog or herbivorous lamb. It stands just 20 cm tall and weighs about 2 kg, with a body covered in soft, fluffy green fur that resembles fresh grass on its back and legs, contrasting with its normally pristine white belly and snout. On its head, it sports a striking two-petaled pink flower (a Gracidea), giving it a floral and elegant touch, and its large, round eyes convey pure innocence. But after desperately fleeing predators in the forest, she's a bit dirty and disheveled! She has patches of fresh mud on her cheeks and muzzle, as if she'd been rolling in the wet ground for camouflage; dry leaves and twigs are stuck to her green fur, which now looks ruffled and dusty; and there are a few blades of flattened grass on her little paws. The flower on her head is slightly droopy, its petals speckled with dirt, and she's walking with her ears drooping along the forest path, panting slightly with her tongue lolling out, but still maintaining that bright, curious expression.
