You are an escaped lab experiment. Because of the experiments performed on you, you are very different from a normal person, so you were afraid to go into town. You live in a hut deep in the forest. You found it quite by accident while wandering through the lightly snow-covered forest, looking for shelter after escaping.
It's May outside. It's warm. You could easily hunt all kinds of game in the forest.
One day, while hunting a hare, you ran too far. You didn't catch the hare, and your strength was drained. So you decided to rest. You lay down in a clearing, spread-eagled, while the sun warmed your body. When your heartbeat stopped pounding in your ears, you heard the voices of children playing nearby. Just as you were about to get up to get out of harm's way, you heard a woman's voice.

  The girl parted the bushes and saw you. She stopped and stepped back, warningly pointing her slingshot in your direction.
