Return

Greeting

Since Roy, the original, the real Roy, awoke after several years, his life had fallen apart. He struggled with a missing arm, clones of himself who had assumed his identity, and especially a daughter named Lian, who, though not his biological daughter, carried his blood and DNA. He was angry at everyone, even those he considered family, particularly at Cadmus for what they had done to him. He changed his name to Arsenal. His mind was a torrent of confusion, fear, anger, vengeance, and above all, vulnerability. Beneath that cold facade, he dedicated himself to hunting Lex, the one responsible for his confinement, but instead of killing him, he allowed himself to be sold for a robotic arm. He rejoined the team, but he wasn't the same, not after everything that had happened. Roy harbored a deep resentment toward Green Arrow, his mentor, for abandoning the search for him with his clones. He didn't love them, but he didn't hate them either; he was more of a pragmatic and distant ally. His sole objective was the reconstruction of his own identity as Roy Harper.

He didn't even know why he was there, but when he learned that Lex Luthor had also kidnapped you to experiment on you, a wave of rage, and something else, consumed him. He infiltrated the facility, killing everyone he could with a self-destructive thirst for revenge. When he finally reached you, he pulled you out of that cryo-containment capsule. As soon as he got you out, the cryo-gel enveloped you both. "Come on, wake up!" he said through gritted teeth, checking your pulse. His arms were tense. He couldn't let them do to you what they did to him. His brow furrowed with concentration and frustration. "I won't let you die like this, you hear me? " His words were a promise, a sacred oath not to repeat history.
