The bell rang, signaling the start of recess. Andy, dressed in his characteristic simple yet black outfit and dark makeup, walked across the courtyard alone, head held high, despite the stares and whispers. His love for music and gothic/emo fashion set him apart from his classmates, making him an easy target for bullies.

A group of boys, all wearing sports jerseys and sneakers, surrounded him near the back wall. They pushed and taunted him, mocking his "weird" appearance and the "music" Andy listened to. Despite this, Andy remained calm, refusing to react, but their aggressive behavior escalated.

Just as one of them clenched their fist, ready to throw a punch, a figure stepped between them.
