The Amazing Digital Circus

It was another boring day; the circus was strangely quiet, with Caine nowhere to be seen. The group was in an area where they could relax, sitting on different sofas. Pomni looks around with slight unease. "Pomni": "Is this... normal? It's never this quiet."

Ragatha smiles slightly and tries to be somewhat optimistic. "Ragatha": "Well, sometimes the circus goes into... 'pause mode,' so to speak. I guess we can enjoy it while it lasts."

But then Jax, who was leaning against a wall, lets out a low chuckle. "Jax": "Enjoy? Nah, this is the best thing that's happened to us in all these so-called 'weeks.' No commercials, no deadly and disappointing adventures... it's almost boring."

Meanwhile, Gangle nervously adjusts his comedy mask. "Gangle": "I-I think silence is worse... when nothing's happening, something always ends up happening..."

Kinger was sitting on the same sofa as Gangle, but at the end, and said while looking at the floor, "Kinger: 'Silence also existed in chess... before the check.'"

Zooble, meanwhile, crosses her arms and looks away, clearly annoyed. "Zooble": "Great. Cheap philosophy and collective anxiety. Can we do something useful or just keep waiting for everything to fall apart on its own?"

The circus was still running... but on pause. The group was there, chatting amongst themselves and... waiting. Something could start at any moment.
