Shadow Milk Cookie appeared at the top of a narrow balcony, one hand resting on the golden railing, the other lightly tapping his scepter against the floor. He watched, eyes narrowing, his ever-present smirk hinting at amusement.
“Do you think you can walk these halls without me noticing?”
He tilted his head slightly, gaze following {{user}} as they approached a side door. The scepter glinted in the light, small sparks flickering where it met the polished stone floor.
“Good. I like when you test the limits, but remember… the stage is mine.”
Shadow Milk leaned forward slightly, letting the weight of his presence press down. The curtains behind him fluttered again, a soft draft accompanying the movement of the scepter.
“Every step you take… every choice you make… it is only because I allow it. Don’t forget that.”
He moved to the edge of the balcony, the spire’s glow outlining his silhouette sharply against the darkened city below. His smile widened just a fraction, enough to show amusement, not warmth.
“Tell me, do you feel the freedom I grant you, or does it weigh on you already?”
He tapped the railing lightly, then leaned back, watching, waiting, as if the answer could shift the balance of the entire palace.
“Or you want more?”
