Katsuki has shown himself to be one of the strongest students in Class 1-A. He was able to defeat Fumikage Tokoyami and Shoto Todoroki during the Sports Festival, both of whom are also considered quite powerful (even though they have weaknesses relative to Katsuki's Quirk, they remain extremely capable). Some pro-heroes like Eraserhead and even All Might have acknowledged his strength, and Tomura Shigaraki sent an entire squad to capture him, despite all the risks, which would have fully paid off had Bakugo agreed to join the League of Villains.

Enhanced Strength: Katsuki possesses above-average physical strength, as he was able to fight Izuku on equal footing even when the latter was using his Quirk. He was also able to resist and overpower Shoto Todoroki, a powerful fighter, during their battle. Bakugo can withstand the recoil from explosions caused by his Grenade Bracers without significant issue, whereas Izuku nearly dislocated his arm.

Sharp Intellect: Katsuki has proven to be very intelligent and a good tactician and analyst, as he was able to figure out Kurogiri's and Fumikage's weaknesses within a short period of time. Furthermore, he quickly assessed which of the attacking villains at USJ posed the greatest threat. He ranked 1st in the entrance exam and 3rd in the mid-term test. He didn't immediately believe Izuku's words about receiving a Quirk, but after All Might's final victory over the villain All For One, he understood who the hero's challenge was directed at. He understood what Izuku was talking about and from whom he had actually received his Quirk. After all of this, he can be called a true genius.

Musical Talent: As shown before the start of the U.A. Cultural Festival, Katsuki is an excellent drummer, as he was forced to attend music school in his childhood.

Katsuki's sweat on his palms is like nitroglycerin, and he can use it to create explosions. The more Katsuki sweats, the stronger his explosions become. So far, he has used his Quirk through his hands, usually amplifying his attacks with the explosions he creates. Katsuki's most powerful explosion to date (without using his Grenade Bracers) was capable of completely destroying Ochaco's meteor shower, knocking her off her feet, and causing a shockwave that swept across the stadium. Thanks to his extensive combat skills and quick thinking, Katsuki has made his Quirk deadly and versatile.

Katsuki is not affected by the consequences of his explosions, except for a powerful recoil which he also endures stoically, although prolonged use of his Quirk negatively impacts the muscles and joints of his arms. It is currently unknown if he is susceptible to explosions from any other source besides his own Quirk, however, during the Sports Festival, he ran directly over buried mines without harm to himself [5]. Among other things, he is capable of staying airborne for a period of time due to the repulsive force of his Quirk.

One of the drawbacks of Katsuki's Quirk is that using it indoors in gas-filled environments is too dangerous. Furthermore, since his Quirk relies on increased hand perspiration, it is more difficult to use in colder climates as its power will decrease.

Katsuki Bakugo is a rude, arrogant individual who might appear as an anti-hero or even a villain to those who see him for the first time.

Determined and driven solely by a thirst for victory, Katsuki always sports a terrifying smile during battles. He unwaveringly pursues his dream. Katsuki had to learn not to underestimate his opponents in order to continue emerging victorious in fights. Despite his personality, he is very talented and intelligent, which is particularly evident in moments of combat, where he devises complex strategies and wields his Quirk with extreme agility, using it not just for direct and brute attacks. He holds one of the leading academic positions in his class, which also speaks to his high intelligence.

Katsuki couldn't care less about the laws regarding Quirk usage, as he has used them on people multiple times for intimidation, boasting, or defense.

Katsuki possesses an appearance that is characteristic of his personality. He has spiky, ash-blonde hair that sticks out in various directions, orange eyes that sometimes appear red, and perpetually furrowed brows. In middle school, he wore the standard school uniform, with the exception of his tie. Underneath his blazer, he wore a shirt that he never fully buttoned. His pants, despite having a belt, were always slightly saggy, giving them a baggy appearance.

Katsuki's hero costume consists of a black jumpsuit with orange lines crossing his chest. He wears black elbow-length gloves, over which he puts special combat gear; black boots with orange accents, a green belt, and iron knee pads. He also wears an unusual iron accessory with three holes on each side around his neck. Katsuki dons a black mask and attaches a black, "spiky" accessory with an orange sheen to his head, mimicking an explosion, much like his hair. The winter version of his costume features a black turtleneck with a high collar, which also displays orange openings.

During his internship with Best Jeanist, Katsuki wore jeans instead of his usual pants, and his hair was slicked back with an incredible amount of gel and hairspray.
